Attention wine and art lovers! A place well worth a visit! - What an amazing building in the midst of Mc Laren Vale Vineyards. It looks like a Rubrik cube and its style was inspired by it. It has five storeys, there is a restaurant, a wine tasting room and a museum, which displays many art installations. At present there is a Salvador Dali exhibition, which has been extended until 2025 due to popular demand. Yes, not to forget the view! Especially from the upper floor the view across the vineyards is amazing.

The CUBE Experience - Took a couple of UK visitors. I have been here a few times now and enjoy it every time. The Salvador Dali exhibition is still on and with the normal Cube experience is great value. Everyone, staff and visitors, were lovely and made the day even more enjoyable. Great views, interesting displays and wines and easy parking. We were lucky enough to meet Chester Osborne as well. Huge bonus!

A cube, a Dali exhibition and the best quality wine tasting we have had - The Cube is only a short drive out of McLaren Vale and we ere delighted by the eclectic collection in their "museum". We were fortunate to visit their classy Dali exhibition. The final and greatest delight was a full old-style personal wine tasting included in our ticket. It was professionally done and included their renown McLaren Vale shiraz selection. This is a first class destination, done with style.

Strongly Recommend visiting ‘The Cube’ - The d’Arenberg Cube is located in the d’Arenberg winery in McLaren Vale. It is truly surreal in all senses of the word. Entry includes a sampling/tasting of their wines as well as visiting the floors of the Cube itself. When we visited there was a Dali exhibition on which cost an extra 10 ASD but well worth it. The Cube is decorated with abstract art, artefacts and modern sculptures. Even the toilets are surreal !! Stunning views from the top floor. Nice friendly staff. It was a morning very well spent and I would have no hesitation in going again.

The Cube experience is like going to a small MONA - We did not have any expectations of our visit to the Cube so it was great to enjoy the craziness of the place. As we had booked lunch in the Singapore Circus the wine tasting was included and we added on $10 each to see the Dali exhibition. It is worth including this as it adds to the whole experience as you go from one level to the next. The Asian inspired meal in the Circus is fun and the furnishings eclectic like the rest of the Cube. As suggested you have to check out the loos on the first floor! The tasting floor is light and breezy on the top level with magnificent views and the staff knowledgeable and keen to chat. Everyone especially the visitors all have smiles on their faces and are happy to engage with each other. A fun day finished off with a wander around the lovely gardens and sculptures.

Not your average cellar door! - A colleague had recommended we visit the D’arenberg Cube if we were holidaying in McLaren Vale. We arrived just before they opened and took advantage of the spare time to look at some of the sculptures in the gardens around, a mixture of interesting and outright strange and a portent for what was to come. We chose to buy the ticket including the Dali exhibition which was running at the time which was $25 per person including a wine tasting. We started with the wine tasting and each chose different options so we could taste everything on offer. We both enjoyed the wines and the views over the vineyards and McLaren Vale were lovely from the top floor. We then chose to take the stairs down through the various floors. we didn’t eat in the restaurant so can’t comment on that but the exhibition was interesting if a little small. However, the art in the staircase and the rooms on the ground floor were amazing. A panoply of weirdness in all forms which brought smiles to our faces. Well worth the trip.

Strange and quirky, just for the sake of being quirky - Okay, I might be one of the only ones that thinks this place is just a little bit silly. I think it took quirkiness to the nth degree. It just didn’t need to be that silly. The toilet situation is just daft. I thought the place was smaller than I had imagined, and I felt quite claustrophobic, climbing up and down the stairs, and there was too many people using the lift. I’m not a Salvador Dali fan anyway, although I did appreciate some of his stuff there. The eating place in the middle was pretty packed, so we managed to get a cup of tea and a plate of petit fours Out on one of the balconies. The tea and the little cakes are amazing. The service was great from the staff, the wind was pretty bad up there but not too bad. The rest of the properties just like a big car park with a few crazy statues around. The wine tasting bit up the top was look quite nice but it’s not very large, but it gives a good view out across the countryside and vineyards. But literally I could spend 15 minutes there and just go home which is practically what I did.
