Unforgettable and beautiful experience in Santa Barbara with delicious coffee. - We did the coffee tour in Santa Barbara and it was an incredible experience. At a very good price (160'000 COP pp) they gave us a tour of a beautiful farm for almost 6 hours, explaining in detail the entire coffee process, from the seed to the roasted bean. Carlos, the owner, was a super friendly person and very generous with his time, answering all our questions and offering us some tastings of some very delicious coffees. Anyway, Marta offered us a snack and a delicious lunch. We also had the support of Dana from Aventuras San Francisco, who supported us with translations for non-Spanish speakers and met us in Medellín to take us to the farm. The farm is beautiful too and you can see that it is still an artisanal coffee production in a family atmosphere. For those who want an authentic experience of the world of coffee, this is a highly recommended tour.

Wonderful tour with family - It is my second visit to the farm, this time with 5 other people from my family. Everyone delighted with the hospitality and obviously with the coffee.

BEST Small Farm Coffee Tour!! - 10/10 this is THE coffee tour to choose between all the options near Medellín! Carlos Emilio and Marta Cecilia have poured love, passion, and hard work to create a unique and family-run coffee farm that is surrounded by mountain and valley views on all sides. The tour included everything you could want: a warm welcome and snack, coffee tasting, a tour of the farm (taking you through the entire life cycle of a coffee plant), a home cooked (DELICIOUS) lunch, and the opportunity to buy coffee straight from the source. In addition to Carlos Emilio’s passion shining through with every story, his desire to share and spark curiosity in others meant that the tour was largely customized. This your was not on a timer or strict schedule that makes you feel rushed. It felt more like visiting a family member and letting curiosity guide you. I thought I knew a lot about coffee before this tour, but I was gently shown that the detailed and nuanced world of coffee contains much more than I ever imagined. Additionally it was very easy to get there (I took the bus from Terminal del Sur by myself and it took about 1.5 hours) and the entire ride was full of views. And of course, the tasting included the best coffee I’ve ever had. A super high quality farm that is passionate about sharing their way of life.

More than a coffee - It's a magical place, the European architecture of the main house is incredible very different from what you can get near; but it doesn't stop there don Carlos is an amazing storyteller and very open to answer any of your questions. Also you get delicious food since the moment you arrive, (bunuelos and pandequeso) with a marvelous cup of hot chocolate, and the lunch was an amazing cazuela, to end the afternoon with an aromatic cup of coffee and don Carlos teaching us how to prepare the coffee, i highly recommend this tour if you want to understand what's behind that delicious, aromatic cup of coffee.
