Beautiful scenery and interesting history! - Diego was our tour guide and we had an amazing time with him! He taught us all the history of comuna 13 and showed us all the beautiful art that came from it. The graffiti looks beautiful but once you know the history it brings an entirely different perspective! We also had some delicious snacks at his aunts restaurant! This was a very enjoyable day!

Each place was different and unique, full of folklore. - Very good and didactic, the guide was very good and warm. I would go back to the commune but to know different places with the tour.

Amazing Comuna 13 Tour with Diego - We had the most amazing tour with Diego. Still talking about this tour weeks later. Diego is so knowledgeable about the area from its long history to present day politics. He brought us all over and had us try various different local traditional foods and drinks, including even bring us to his aunts house, who ever so generously made the group small snacks/bites to eat. Wasn't expecting that at all! Too nice and too kind. I learned so much on this tour and would both happily go again as well as recommend this to anyone looking for a tour of Comuna 13. The tour was the perfect length and it never felt rushed nor too slow, just perfect. Thanks Diego!

Authentic tour with guide locally connected - Our guide showed us parts of the neighborhood that we would have never seen on our own. It’s a maze! He gave us good back story of local and regional history before we left for the tour, which felt like a little taste of everything. Good snacks along the way. If you’re not up for a lot of stairs & walking, this isn’t for you. Subtracted a star because he was so fast and our group was so big, it was hard to keep up with our guide thru the very very crowded streets and walkways. We were scared we would lose him and it would have been challenging to find our way back. And ofcourse we’d miss the remainder of the tour. Remember it’s a very crowded maze; particularly on NYE afternoon. We suggested he carry a little Colombian or other flag that he could waive & his group could more easily follow him thru the many crowds & turns. He was dismissive of the idea. I still recommend, but make sure you have extra phone chargers & cash so you can get out of there in case you lose him & get lost.
