Inspiring tour through a niegbourhood of strong souls - Excellent tour! We booked it online and it turned out to be a private tour. Because we are a little older, we asked to take it slow and that was no problem. Actually, it was a super relaxed walk. Kevin told us a lot about the (violent) history and the hope and community that the graffiti/art projects have brought and still bring. Actually, our hometown of Otrobanda has similar artwork and murals inspired on Comuna 13. We loved the time with Kevin, and also the breakdance performances. Thaks Kevin!

Authentic and very friendly - We went to comuna 13 with Isabela. As a permanent resident and now a grandmother, she told us the history of the neighborhood honestly, authentically and very interestingly. During the tour she showed us local artists (improvisational shows) and delicacies. She even responded to our wishes and was always friendly. We did the tour in Spanish, English is also offered.

Our tour with Kevin - Me and my friends went on a tour of communa 13 with Kevin and it was genuinely a life changing experience. Kevin gave us the best tour, including breakdancing performances, playing football, empanadas, cremas, patacones and more. He shared with us his story and the history of communa 13 and I could not be more moved, Kevin really opened our eyes to everything and also gave us an amazing, fun tour. I could not be more thankful to Kevin, genuinely an experience of a life time. Thank you so much to Kevin, an inspirational man.

Amazing - The tour was absolutely AMAZING. My friends and I were so moved by the whole experience, and genuinely had the best day ever. To see the life and community of communa 13 was a massive privilege, and I will never forget it. Kevin is amazing, and completely made our experience, thank you so much!

Maravillosa! - It has been a fantastic tour, Veronica was a very patient and caring guide, she presented us in very detail all the history and culture of that most famous area of Medellin, which has helped us a lot to understand and enjoy the atmosphere during our tour of the commune, I recommend the tour!

The best tour to immerse in and understand Comuna 13 heritage and future - We did not see the time go by and Kevin introduced us to the many details of the heritage and the history of his neighbourhood and his community, that has made through many efforts, what Comuna 13 is today. Between the graffitis, the houses, the stairs, the colours, the smiles and words of the various local people we met, Kevin shared everything with honesty, authenticity and passion. It was fascinating to hear the story of this part of Medellin, discover the museum that highlights the key moments of the past decades, and see for real how the new generation is fighting every day to transform their neighbourhood for visitors and for future generations.
We had a really great time, it was insightful, educative, fun, we discovered some local delicacies, and the rhythm is well thought to give us enough time to really feel and immerse.
Well done, a beautiful, human-centric, inclusive tour.
Highly recommended to any visitor of Medellin!

Communa 13 - Very informative tour with Kevin! The history of this neighborhood is very sad, but it’s wonderful to see hope spring from Hip Hop culture! Communa 13 is a great example of community change.

Must do when visiting Medellin. Informative and Necessary. - This was one of the highlights of my trip. My tour guide was Kevin and he was great from start to finish. We had a small group of about 7 of us which made it more intimate. I enjoyed learning about the dark and bright side of the area and people. It was a beautiful day and enjoyed all the stops along the way. I don't want to give anything away so just do it!

Best experience ✨ - Veronica and Kevin were the best, apart from inspiring as people, they make you feel at home, super recommended. And dare I say that I already have family in Medallo, Mid and Fer❤️ thank you so much. Excellent attention, coordination and above all love for what they do!!
