Columa 13, cable car, Pablo Tour, Beautiful Day, Amazing Art, excellent tour - We had an amazing day with Erika! She arrived early and was charged and ready to do! Perfect English which not speaking much Spanish was a huge bonus! We loved Comuna 13, seeing the street performers, having her explain the art on the graffiti tour, and enriching our knowledge about the people who experienced so much heartbreak and their resilience as a community! The cable car ride was a great way to see more of the areas and how some people still live and thrive. We appreciated Erika’s personal knowledge about the history of Pablo Escobar and how his life and business affected Medellín, the people and even the world. It was good to remember the past as to not repeat. The memorial she took us to was touching. The columbian people are very strong!

Knowledgeable and accommodating - Sara was a wonderful guide through the neighborhood. She adjusted the tour to take us through Comuna 13 before it got overcrowded, which was very helpful since we were traveling with our 4 year old son. Sara answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable about the regional history. She snagged us some popsicles to keep our son content, took us to slides in the neighborhood, and was very accommodating. Highly recommend!

A Perfect Way to Spend a Day in Medellín - We booked the Comuna 13, cable car, and downtown private tour with Erika. She picked us up in the morning from our accommodation in Poblado and we started out in Comuna 13 before the crowds arrived. She gave us an honest and open history of the community, and you could really hear and understand the pride in her people and their resilience. The graffiti and art that is used to ensure the past is never forgotten is a beautiful reminder of how things were in the past, and how they should be now and in the future. The community members were welcoming and friendly, the hip hop and break-dancing performances were amazing!  After, we took the cable cars up the mountain and were given a further understanding of the city as it was, and as it is today. The views from up high were amazing, and we were able to see a side of the city that we would never have had the opportunity to see on our own. Erika was a wealth of knowledge in getting to understand Medellín and its people, its sociopolitical landscape, its past and its future.  Finally, she took us downtown to see Botero plaza and its world-famous statues. Excitement from the eclectic mix of people and the sounds of a bustling city, with a final stop at an amazing building converted to shopping and art galleries. Was a perfect way to spend the day in Medellín thanks to our guide.

Super cool and informative - I had done a comuna 13 tour before and this is the best by far! Diana was amazing. She shared a lot of history and perspective as a comuna 13 local. We even took some less touristy paths, which gave us some great insights.

Five star experience - Erica is a wonderful guide. She is knowledgeable about the political and social history of Medellin and weaves in her personal story to create a compelling tour. During our visit she pointed out the symbols in the graffiti murals and the amazing breakdancing. A cable car ride over the comuna gave a sense of the area's geography. Our tour ended with a feast of exotic fruits. Definitely a five star experience.
