Near Medellin Coffee Learning Experience - Very interesting tour of all it takes to get that cup of coffee to your table. We found the discussion of the different processes very informative and liked seeing the roasting and quality control facilities along with the small coffee farm. This isn’t the tour for you if you prefer to spend hours outside on a larger coffee plantation in the countryside. For us, we were delighted to experience the Colombian coffee approach without a long trip from Medellin.

Coffee Success! - I walked out of this tour with so much more knowledge about coffee than I ever expected to. From the actual coffee plant and beans to how to properly brew… this whole experience was interactive and enjoyable!
Paolo was a stellar guide and got us to our locations safely and timely.
Our guide and translator, Isabella, knew so much about the entire process of coffee. She answered all of our questions and was so friendly with us Americans (who spoke only a minimal amount of Spanish).
I know it wasn’t their objective but I won’t be drinking standard coffee again!

Bucket list Experience - I loved how engaging the tour was. I love learning and they make sure you are presented with the cultural history of coffee and are engaging with the coffee itself. The farm is close to the city and shows what a truly organic and sustainable farming of Colombian coffee can look like. I would recommend this as a bucket list experience on your trip to Columbia. They also provided coffee and snacks throughout the tour.

Learn about Coffee at an Urban Farm - We really enjoyed Isabela and Pablo as tour guides and learning about the coffee process. I am not a coffee drinker myself, my wife is, but I still appreciate ld learning about the history of coffee. I would recommend this tour if you want a half day tour that is near to the city and care about organic small batch production.

Amazing coffee experience! - This tour far exceeded my expectations. Juan David and Pablo thoroughly explained so much about coffee through the whole process. In addition, they provided hands-on experience going out in the field and observing all that is involved in the process. If you want to really learn about coffee, this is the tour for you!

From plant to cup -loved this tour !! - Loved the whole experience! As an avid coffee drinker it was fascinating to see coffee plants, taste the raw fruit (outer peel), and have a go at picking. We were then taken to the processing plant and saw all the multiple processes, and even had the opportunity to have a coffee tasting experience with a Q Expert.
My wife who doesn’t drink coffee also really loved this experience so not being a coffee drinker should not hold you back from taking this tour.
Some real stand outs for us were:
I) location is outskirts of Medellin, so if you don’t want to travel 2 hrs each way this is amazing - you won’t get any views of the countryside but convenience and time was paramount for us.
II) our guide, Isabella was a standout, spoke perfect English and was able to answer all our questions about coffee so well. The tour ran like clockwork and everyone else went out of their way to answer all of our (admittedly many) questions !
