Terrific tour! Recommend 100% - Our tour with John was simply incredible!! His English is fantastic. He was so passionate to share the history of Colombia & specifically Medellin. He grew up here & knows the history first hand. John was quick to accommodate our interests & shared interesting stories and facts. We were extremely happy with how much ground we covered & how we covered it (comfortable vehicle, MetroCable, walking).

Wonderful tour - Our guide John was spectacular! He was so knowledgeable about the history of Medellin and so passionate about this city. He took us on the metro systems cable cars where we had a great view of the city. He took us to a few spots around the city all while explaining the history of each location. I cannot recommend this tour enough it was a great way to see a lot of the highlights. Our guide John was so wonderful we actually hired him to take us on another tour while we were visiting. Cannot recommend this tour enough!

Good introduction to Medellín. - A very enjoyable introduction to the city of Medellin. Pablo was a knowledgeable and very pleasant guide. You get to see the downtown area around Plaza Botero and, as we opted in, a cable car ride up to Arvi park.

Recommended for People Interested in Today's Medellin - Ana provided a wonderful tour that focuses on the Medellin of today and tomorrow. She is very proud of her city, and her love of her hometown infused the tour with an optimistic and vital energy. She was able to modify the tour to accommodate my elderly father-in-law, and could switch easily between English and Spanish.

The amazing Ana creates a sense of family while presenting a breadth of information - We took 4 tours (Guatape, private city tour, Communa 13, organic coffee farm) with this amazing tour guide over four days. Over that time, we felt deeply embraced by Ana's concern for the safety of each of us and her personal commitment to our learning about the history of Medellin and Colombia. As a journalist, the amazing Ana told the story of Medellin’s difficult history with nuance and honesty. Our group ranged in age from two years old to eighty, Ana brought her warmth and attentiveness to each of us. Her English is impeccable. When glitches occurred (the cable cars stopped functioning for a time) she found alternate solutions with calm and creativity, and even attended to our need for food. I could write a book, but will end by saying you will not find a better tour guide anywhere! The drivers were also friendly and responsive.

Highly recommend this tour and Ana as guide - We had an absolutely fantastic time learning about the city and its culture with our tour guide Ana. She was extremely informative and friendly. This tour was definitely a highlight of our trip.

A deeper look into the Medellin city life. - This tour provides a great look into the real lives of the people of Medellin. As a matter of expectations, I’ll note that David has a very dry personality. Meaning he’s not a constant or in-depth explainer, nor does he express his enthusiasm really well. In other words, the tour is more like you’ll walking around the town with a local who is available to answers your questions if you have them. Otherwise, his explanations will be brief. That said, the tour was not rushed at all. David was very flexible and catered to my friend’s desire to stop and shop. If you want to see the real city life of the densely populated city of Medellin, this is the tour for you.

Adequate tour - This tour was an adequate tour of the city. We covered all of what was promised in the tour. However, compared to other tours we took in Medellin (in a lower price range), the tour lacked enthusiasm for and depth of information about the city.
