Incredible Tour - Highly Recommend - This experience was amazing and it's clear that Sebastian brings a lot of passion and knowledge to his tours with beautiful storytelling and communication. The tour was more than just a simple walkthrough of Communa13, as we did a quick tour of downtown and took the cable car. Sebastian walked us through some of the history of the violence/struggles in Colombia amnd developing Medellin + the public transit + lower class communas, adding some rich personal perspective in between. We were a smaller group of 4 so we were able to ask him questions and dive deeper. Even though we had already done the Real City Tours walking tour of downtown, we loved hearing the story of Medellin from a different perspective. While his tour was a little more expensive than some of the other options we saw, I highly recommend and found it well worth it. This is personally what I look for in a tour, as a simple walkthrough of Communa13 would have been a little underwhelming for me.

Great overview of Medellin - Great tour to get acquainted with Medellin. Our guide was very knowlegeable and ensured we had a great time. Everything was as detailed and we could get a feeling of how people live in the different neighbourhoods of Medellin. Would highly recommend.

Medellin at its best- must do tour - Sebastian was a fantastic tour guide. My partner and I would recommend him 10 times over. His background in architecture allows him to provide so much knowledge and nuance into the layout of the city, the history and the ongoing development of Medellin. You take the metro and cable car up to Communa 13 which is super fun. You also stop for some local refreshments along the way. In Medellin I’m sure there are no tours better than this one.

The True Medellin Experience. - This was the best tour I’ve ever been on, anywhere. Sebastian is an incredible guide who not only shows you Medellin through the eyes of people who live there, but also provides an environment to be educated about the history of this city. There are too many highlights to list, but there is one common denominator — La Cultura del Metro. Using Medellin’s transit system with Sebastian at the helm, we experienced many different sights, sounds, cultural nuances, people, places, and things throughout all parts of the city. This part of the experience also made the remainder of our trip so much more experientially rich because we used the metro the entire time for our stay. Again, there’s so much to say about this tour, so I’ll leave you with this: If you’re in Medellin and want to be embedded in the city’s culture (past, present, and future) and learn about this amazing country and city, do this tour! Finally, Sebastian is such a great person. He’s super insightful and provides deeper context to the places he takes you to on this tour. His background in architecture and city planning adds more rich layers of knowledge to the overall experience and education gained by walking and commuting through Medellin.

Excellent historical and experiential tour - We thoroughly enjoyed our walking/transportation tour with Sebastian. This tour was different than other walking tours we've taken, as we traversed the city by metro, cable car, and bus, in addition to walking. This was a fascinating way to see many different parts of the city. Sebastian was a warm and interesting tour guide, and it was fascinating to learn about the city's history and built environment through his lens as a past city planner. My only complaint was that the tour could have been even longer so that we could learn more!

The highlight of our time in Medellin! - The highlight of our time in Medellin! Sebastian is a brilliant tour guide and knows his city intimately. He gets the balance just right in sharing information and letting you soak up the city in between. Superb tour, great guide - Great tour! Sebastian is very knowledgable and speaks great English. The tour is a perfect mix of interesting history and fun things to do - including a cable car ride, street food snacks and a walk through the graffiti of Comuna 13. Recommended!!

Great tour, highly recommend - A wonderful, very informative and interesting tour! The inclusion of public transport in the tour was a unique touch. Very well thought tour and the guide was very knowledgeable with very good, easy to understand English. If you’d like to learn history and modern life of Medellin then this tour is for you.

Fantastic tour with Colombian Ambassadors - This was a great tour with a great guide Julian, showing us many areas of Medellin and helping us to understand its history - fascinating. Julian explained everything so well. Highly recommend this tour especially when you first arrive in Medellin.
