Such an interesting detailed tour! - We had Carlos as our private guide and he was so knowledgeable about Escobar and the Medellin Cartel. He also gave us details as to the current system in Colombia and gave us some very interesting insights into the city and the country as a whole. Would highly recommend the tour as you get to visit important locations in Pablo's life.

More Than Just Escobar - Andres was our guide. He did a great job showing us locations all around town city. While the tour was Escobar-centric, we learned about much more than that. And we saw wonderful views from above the city.

Chasing the ghosts of Pablo - It was a great experience, taking in all the highlights of Pablo in the city of Medellin. The highlight by far was meeting Pablo’s sister Gloria at her home. An absolutely humbling and incredible experience. But most of all, our guide Carlos was excellent and super knowledgeable and kind. Without him the experience would not have been the same. Highly recommended!

A truly unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience! Highly recommend - Honestly the best trip I have done. David was a family friend and meeting Gloria was so interesting to hear unheard stories and things she has collected from Pablo’s life. A truly unforgettable, once in a lifetime experience! Highly recommend

A truly fascinating bucket list tour of Escobar! - David Garzón was our tour guide for this experience and he did an incredible job of explaining Pablo Escobar’s history. The Catedral was so fascinating and the view from the mountain was stunning. All the other sights we saw were equally impressive and awe inspiring. We were so stoked we got to meet Pablo’s surviving sister and one of his bodyguards! We even got photos with them and got to ask them questions. They both happened to be present at Pablo’s burial site. David is very knowledgeable of Escobar’s history and the history of the cartel in Colombia. We really enjoyed all of his explanations and found him to be very thoughtful and insightful. We loved the tour so much in fact that we also did the ATV tour! Thank you David!

Amazing, informative, real deal tour - That was awesome! We learned so much about the real history with our guide, David. We really could not recommend this tour enough. It was great to have frank conversations about the Escobar cartel, visit La Caterdal, his grave, the place he met his demise, all of it. We were able to see a lot of Medellin and the stories that went with the barrios. Excellent tour.

For this price, I had expected a more professional and personalized service. - Very interesting tour and fascinating to see the places you have read about in books and seen on television. And incredible to realize that the lovely city that is Medellin now was a war zone thirty years ago due to the narcism of one man. My guide was very knowledgeable about the topic and had answers to all my questions. That said, I did feel more like a number than a true guest. It was a private 1:1 tour, but I did not feel the guide had any interest in the person he spent 4 hours with. He did tell me about his past addictions, which seemed out of place for me. At the Cathedral, he bought water and a chocolate bar for himself and he didn't offer me anything, nor did he even alert me to the fact that I could buy something there. Very strange. He was also was attending personal matters towards the end of the tour. Several times, I had to ask the guide for a moment to take pictures and he never proactively offered to take a picture of me. We had to do everything quickly and I was already back at my Airbnb in less than 4 hours, feeling slightly confused and USD170 poorer. The day before this trip, we had a full day excursion to Guatape with five people including bus, boat tour, lunch and guided tour for the same amount. So in short: It wasn't a bad experience, but for USD170 I do expect a more professional and personalized service.

Better tour guides and more information - Terrible experience with Matteo,I am from Colombia and came for the second time to do this tour with my Canadian family, it was terrible, Matteo is not prepared to be a guide. You need to engage with the people and provide information I told him from the beginning the were not from Colombia and they wanted to learn about the history, he wasn’t answering all the questions, he didn’t have the knowledge it was embarrassing. To Me the worse thing was the he was providing wrong details, so I can’t imagine a group of tourists coming to this tour and taking back home the wrong information, terrible. He was assuming the people knew names, dates and was asking me to pull in my phone pictures or details because he didn’t know what to answer He should be expending less time talking to the driver and chat with his customers. The trip was expensive and we were very disappointed, wasted our money
