Amazing ziplines! - This was an AMAZING experience! Our guide was Darwin. We booked through Carnival cruise as the EcoAdrenaline Zipline. Everyone was very friendly and kind. At the ziplines, we had an explanation of how to safely zipline as they helped to put on our safety gear. Then we climbed up and zipped from line to line. There were many guides and helpers along the way. Because you have gloves on your hands, there isn't really a way to take pictures. However, they provided a photographer as well. Of course the pictures cost extra money, so be prepared to take cash along. We provided our email. We received a link in about 2 days for the pictures, but the cruise ship wifi and my phone didn't allow access. However, when we got home we were able to download. We received almost 200 pictures for a family of 6 of us! Then we had a plate of fruits, got a taste of some amazing hot chocolate, and got to hold a parrot while getting more pictures. This was one of the most memorable excursions that we have booked for a very good price.

Zip Lining in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic - Our family had an excellent time! This was a day excursion that we planned from our cruise ship. I can’t help but think we had the best crew. Juana, our guide was very bubbly and energetic. Roberto was our driver. As we drove through town, Juana explained the culture and the city of Puerto Plata. She answered all of our questions and was a joy, the ride was pure entertainment! Once we came to the zip line area, everyone working was extremely professional. We felt very safe given all of their instruction. The crew was knowledgeable and humorous. We felt prepared and at ease. The zip line activity itself was easy. The climbing of the stairs to get to each platform was a bit more challenging. The stairs/ladders are narrow and if you’re afraid of heights, this is what will probably scare you most. I’m 53 and in good shape. There were some couples there, probably in their 60s. We were all able to climb to the different platforms. I must admit I was a tiny bit breathless by the end, so I feel like it was just the right amount of activity. Later we went back to base where fresh fruit and drinks were waiting for us. Juana introduced us to many of the native fruits grown there and walked us through the different varieties of fruit trees and plants. This was an unexpected treat which we all thoroughly enjoyed. Having seen the beautiful landscape of the country and witnessing the warmth of the people, this tour has our family longing to return to the Dominican Republic.

Horses and ziplines - Eduardo y Luis great tour guides. Everything was great! Nice relaxing day. Fruit was amazing all grown at the place. It is an open bus which was nice.

Great time, would recommend! - The excursion was great, the guides were extremely friendly (S/o to Arianny!) and helpful every step of the way. The zipline platforms did require some climbing so I would suggest being physically comfortable climbing but otherwise, very scenic views.

Best tour hands down - Papa Alex and Daniel were terrific people. Sharing their knowledge of the history and countryside of DR was an amazing experience!

Very cool! - We did the horseback riding and zip lines activity and we had a great time!! The treatment of the staff is excellent, both in the transportation on the way with the driver Lais and the guide Alex, who told us many interesting facts about the country along the way. Then Edward at the zip lines activity, who gave us safety instructions and made sure that everything was perfect with our experience.

Great time....Very good excursion.. - Went to a small town in the mountains where we visited a small school...we delivered 2 backpack filled with pencils and crayons and other school supplies to the director of the school which he was very excited for the kids...we really appreciate all we met...very friendly and kind people of Puerto plata...he had Eduardo (guide) and Daniel (driver) very funny and informative....tks for a day...will be back....

Had fun - Ernesto and Eduardo were fantastic driver/guide. So much fun for a half day tour. Beautiful spot in the mountains with garden also

Exhilarating zipline. Honest photographer. - The zipline was exhilarating. We enjoyed the photos and video provided by the photographer. We paid him there for the photos using PayPal. Somehow we were billed twice. When I noticed it on my bank statement and mentioned it by email to the photographer, he returned the extra payment. I appreciate his honesty about this.

Average - The staff and our tour guide were extremely nice. I did feel a little pressure to buy photos. The zip lining was really fun but the horseback riding was extremely muddy and I wish we would have known to bring an old pair of shoes. It probably took 30 minutes to get to our destination from the boat. We went through some very distressed areas of the Dominican Republic, which was very eye-opening to say the least.
