Chefchaouen was originally a Berber village which is Amazigh and the name Chefchaouen is the name of the Amazigh. It consists of two parts: Shaf and Ashawn, which means in Arabic. He is the chauvinist of the centuries. The city was founded in 1471 as a city, which means the walls and the castle inside the walls by Prince Mawla Ali bin Rashid. They leave from Chefchaouen towards the coast of Qasr al-Saghir and the coast of Targha, and they have won in certain battles. In addition, some prisoners are captured and used to complete the construction of the city. A great week in Morocco with Yassine from Swiss Morocco tours - We had Yassine with us for four trips over the period of a week. He was very knowledgeable, helpful always and a really good driver. He's very experienced in the needs of tourists and when we come back to Morocco we hope he's able to take us around again. All the best Yassine.
