great commentary during the Great Ocean Road tour - The full-day tour of the Great Ocean Road was especially enjoyable with all I learned from out bus driver and tour guide James, who gave us running commentary, starting even before we reached the arch at the beginning the Road all the way to the Twelve Apostles ocean-carved limestone columns, with many stories from the history of sights, the $5 million house, the lighthouse that bothered people in the town, and the ship sinking at the limestone cliffs with only two survivors of the 54 on board. We heard about tree species in the forests we drove past, and the kangaroos that thrive on the cattle pastures that the 19th-Century British cleared. He knows of a spot where a family of koalas perch, where we stopped to get photos of them. He served us morning tea with biscuits at a picnic spot, made several further stops at toilets to prevent our discomfort, and did restaurant reviews in the town of our lunch stop, Apollo Bay. I ordered the shark and chips the recommends.

12 Apostles from up above - Our guide was Rhys, who did an amazing job. He suggested and organized an additional helicopter ride at 12 Apostles , that was amazing. Seeing this landmark from the sky was a really great experience. He also served us a really nice breakfast with tee or caffe. We loved his music taste and his sense of humor. The whole tour was nice and even though we had a long ride we really enjoyed it. Sending love from Slovenia.

Amazing experience with James - It was an amazing trip and more than worth the money! James was our driver on the 10th of July and I couldn't have asked for a better guide and driver. His enthusiasm and passion of Melbourne, Victoria and Australian history is truly a pleasure. He has an absolute wealth of knowledge that isn't to be missed. Thanks very much James. From an Irishman with a thick Irish brogue.

Its all in the narrative! - The weather was not on our side and what would have been a long and dreary day of sitting in a bus except for a few short stops was given a 180degree turn by our guide and driver. James kept us entertained all the way with his knowledge of Melbourne’s history, shared some personal stories and attempted some jokes even. But it was a tough crowd! He made the experience even more special by stopping to show us koala and kangaroos “in the wild”. My advice to anyone planning to take this tour - Be prepared that for most part of the journey you will be sitting in the bus. It will be uncomfortable esp if the bus is full - just for a few great photo ops. So make sure you bring whatever you need to keep you entertained or distracted - just in case you are not fortunate to have James as your guide. Overall a fantastic day.

We Texans love Australia. Yeehaaaaaw! - It was our family's first visit to Australia. The great ocean road and 12 apostles trip was one of the most memorable! We took this trip on June 4, 2024. Our tour guide Luke Bennet was absolutely fantastic. Not only was he most informative about the tour locations, he was also funny, and kept everyone entertained. Luke, we know we Americans mis-pronounce Melbourne but it seems quite a task for us to change the pronunciation to MelBIN, ha! Luke also took great pictures of our family, which will add to our wonderful memories. The scallop pies at Apollo Bay were the best pies we have ever eaten. Thanks Luke for the recommendation. The scenic views, and the koala and dolphin sighting was spectacular. We truly did not want this one to end. It was absolutely phenomenal. We also took the Blue Mountain Deluxe tour from Sydney on June 7, 2024 (through the same company sightseeing tours), and it was also an enjoyable tour.
