• Lorne - Choose from a variety of lunch options in the beach holiday town of Lorne: takeaway fish & chips, a classic Aussie pub meal, or a healthy buddha bowl. Alternatively, take the time to shop for local produce and ice-cold beers.
• Kennett River - One of Australia’s prime locations to spot Koalas. Scan the eucalyptus trees, high and low, for the best chances of seeing these iconic marsupials. Also an excellent birdwatching spot.
• Apollo Bay - A quick and final beach town stop before the Great Ocean Road winds inland through the rainforests of the Great Otway National Park and the Port Campbell National Park.
• Twelve Apostles - Experience the dramatic grandeur of the 12 Apostles, towering limestone stacks that rise majestically from the wild Southern Ocean.
• Loch Ard Gorge - With sunset approaching, the penultimate stop is a quick photo opportunity at Loch Ard Gorge, site of a famous 1878 shipwreck.
• London Bridge - The final stop before embarking on a direct drive back to your drop-off location, London Bridge is another of the coastline’s famous quirky rock formations.

What to expect?

The 12 Apostles: According to the recommended schedule, you will have an hour to explore the 12 Apostles. It’s just a short walk from the car to the viewing platforms.

Seaside towns and villages: Anglesea, Aireys Inlet, Lorne, and Apollo Bay offer opportunities for coffee, shopping for local produce, ice cream, fish & chips on the beach, or visiting a craft brewery. Nathan will share all the available options and can make recommendations, but it’s your day and ultimately your choice.

Wildlife: Koala spotting and bird watching at Kennett River. Kangaroos and native birds could be spotted anywhere!

• The total time of this tour (12-14 hours) includes travel time by car and a two hour contingency for bad traffic.
