Discover & appreciate Melbourne’s Coffee Culture - A marvelous tour for a coffee lover who visits Melbourne regularly. With a myriad of coffee bars & cafes in Melbourne, how does one start to differentiate & choose which venue for one’s morning coffee or three? Monique, our guide, treated our tour group of 8 to 4-5 different coffee establishments in Melbourne’s laneways. We were given an informal history of Melbourne’s coffee culture, history of coffee & essentials pertaining to the appreciation of one’s ’cuppa Joe’ whether it be espresso, black or with milk/mylk & filter coffee. Tasting, comparing & discussing was illuminating for us all. Monique also mentioned numerous venues which we did not visit on the tour. The baristas at the chosen cafes were skilled & happy to offer samples or cups of coffee as predetermined by Monique. Thank you Monique; I also liked the way you drew out the experiences & preferences of the guests on the tour; it all added to our appreciation of this wonderful & complex world wide popular drink.

What a great, fun time in Melbourne! - Loved, loved, loved this tour! Monique was a fantastic guide. She had so much knowledge of not only coffee, but the history of Melbourne. We got to know the people on our tour and we all had a fantastic morning. First time I had tried an espresso, thought it was something I wouldn't like, but not the case. Enjoyed it!

Get to know coffee better than just cafes - The visits to Melbourne and Sydney were really the perfect tour because it was about experiencing Australian coffee culture. Our guide, Monique, is full of coffee lovers, and he tells us not only about the cafe but also about everything about coffee, including how it spread, how espresso spreads, and how to make delicious drip coffee (or Pour Over, as it's called in Australia). Coffee lovers are sure to enjoy comparing the taste of beans and its explanation. It was a good season in October, but we were the only two participants, probably because we were there on Monday. The challenge for Japanese is English. English proficiency to the extent that everyday conversation is possible is essential.

A great tour for anyone who enjoys coffee!!! - Monique led a great coffee tour of four amazing and unique coffee shops. My wife and I had amazing drinks of our choosing at each shop and learned a lot about coffee and Melbourne’s rich coffee heritage. Check out a few of the drinks we enjoyed!!!
