- The Oxford Scholar - Stopping outside one of Melbourne’s original gold rush pubs, we find out more about the history of morgues in Melbourne
- Old Melbourne Gaol - Learn about this Gaol gruesome role in executing more than 135 men and women, the most haunted part of the Gaol, and its most famous resident! We also talk about the first men hanged in Melbourne.
- Chinatown Melbourne - Enter the world’s oldest continuous Chinatown and discovery the scourge of crime, prostitution and opium that once plagued this area.
Later we’ll stop for a drink at one of the area’s hidden laneway bars.
- Southern Cross Lane - Step back in time to Melbourne’s first marketplace - part farmers market, part freak show carnival - as we learn about the famous murder that took place here.
- Pink Alley - Home to the ghost of a young lady, brutally murdered and with her killer still unknown!
- The Capitol - Once home to the hottest bar during WW2, we also learn about the serial killer who terrorised Melbourne during the wartime period.
- 277-279 Flinders Lane. - Home to some of Melbourne’s best bars and restaurants, you might also find a scary tale or two here. We finish our tour with a drink at one of the area’s best cocktail bars.
- Hosier Lane - Melbourne’s most famous graffiti laneway also has a dark past, and a ghost many believe may have been the most famous slasher of them all.
- Federation Square - Once home to our first morgue, Federation Square has its fair share of dark secrets, including prostitute ghosts, dead fisherman and bodies in boxes!

Great tour - Had a great time leading about the history of Melbourne. The bars we visited were interesting as well. Tour guide was great and very informative

Gritty gory Melbourne done so well! - Bridgette’s knowledge of Melbourne was just what I was after, more of an historic behind the scenes insight into Melbourne’s social foundations. Many parts made for grim listening but, hey that’s what I paid for. Great to meet other interested people and chat to them as we rambled and enjoyed the bars.

Brigette was a fountain of creepy and bar-related knowledge! - My partner and I took my father-in-law on this drinking tour to get to know Melbourne at night over a few drinks. Our guide, Brigette, was super engaging, knowledgeable, friendly and funny, creating many gasps and laughs among our small group of five. We particularly loved visiting our first bar, a wine bar with an interesting 're-fill your empty wine bottles' concept called ReWine - as well as learning some of the darker stories of the Queen Victoria Market, university pubs and Melbourne's own Jack the Ripper contender. No corny jump-scares here, just a heap of cool history and drinks :)

A Great Walking Tour of Special Places in Melbourne - When staying in Melbourne this tour is a definite must.
Tom was our guide who took us down interesting lanes and spoke about the history of the area. We visited 3 pubs along the way. All welcoming and vibrant but again steeped in amazing facts from years past.
We both enjoyed ourselves immensely!

A must do at the start of your Melbourne vacation! - I highly recommend this tour! In fact, I’d suggest taking this tour early in your Melbourne venture because your guide will acquaint you with the city and show you some fantastic areas and bars that you’ll for sure want to return to! Lenny is an awesome host and the entire night was informative, fun, and tasty!

Drinking history - Interesting tour lead by Brigette. Was a nice way to spend time discovering parts of Melbourne and find out interesting tales of the past. Seeing buildings and bars that you walk past but don’t know is a fun discovery too

Melbournes Dark 'istory - This was a very fun and engaging tour - Brigette has a wealth of knowledge to share, some pretty intense things about Melbourne we wouldnt even think of.. Bars were great too.

Authentic, fun journey to the past of a great city - This is a fascinating and entertaining way to become familiar with this amazing city. The guides told some gripping yarns of Old Melbourne as we wander through the lanes and streets, painting a picture of a colourful past and their ghostly remains. This is an ideal tour not only for visitors, but for Melbourne residents. I was born and have grown up and lived here all my life and still learnt things that have changed the way that I look at my birthplace. I really enjoyed myself. The tour itself is expertly organised by a very professional crew and I can’t recommend this highly enough. There are some other tours offered as well, and I may do them at a later date. Check them out.
