A 'sweet' tour of Melbourne - A great way to explore Melbourne while enjoying sweet treats! Ivan was a fantastic guide who shared wonderful choccie recommendations as well as plenty of interesting stories of Melbourne's history.

Peggy was a great chocolate historian - If you want to know what makes a good tour guide, Peggy seems to give you the answer = she has a history degree and is in the process of completing her masters. In other words, she is a historian. You might not think that you need that for a chocolate tour. After all, you're there to eat chocolate, not to hear all of that boring history stuff, but she knew everything you could ever want to know about chocolate, interspersed with various Melbourne history as well, including showing us dancing clocks that we would never have noticed, and archways that were bulldozed for the sake of Melbourne's 1956 Olympics and all sorts of little things. The sign that she held, probably at great strain to her upper arm, guaranteed we wouldn't get lost and was also a great way to advertise the tour to passers-by. This is how all tours should be. You couldn't ask for more. Also, with the amount of chocolate we ate, as well as the tips for fun stuff, it was well and truly worth it. We even got a 10% discount at the 5 stops if we wanted to buy any of our own stuff! And shout out to the magnificent staff at the 5 shops we went to s well!

Fabulous and Amazing! - This tour was FABULOUS! Tonya was so knowledgeable and informative. We learned a lot about the history of Melbourne and many buildings in the area as well as the history of the type of chocolate in Australia and where the ingredients come from. Everything we tasted was DELICIOUS. The businesses we visited were generous and kind. I will be going back to these places to purchase gifts and chocolate before I leave Australia. I met some amazing women on this tour and we have exchanged numbers! I would HIGHLY recommend this tour!

Discover some alternative chocolate makers - A great couple of hours spent discovering & tasting some of the lesser known chocolate brands. We tasted spice laced chocolate at Gerwúrzhaus Spice House in the Block Arcade, locally made hot chocolate from Mörk, locally made chocolate by Chocomama sold by Clementine’s in De Grave street, chocolate dessert dumplings at Din Tai Fung at the Emporium & finishing with a chocolate & cheese testing at at Coal River Farm back in the Block Arcade. We had never been to any of these places so it was great do discover some new places in Melbourne. Thank you to our guide Peggy who imparted her knowledge of chocolate & some history of some Melbourne landmarks.

Fun day - Jake was a great guide and it was nice to be shown different chocolate shops rather than the well known ones.
