Highlights
  • Yarra Valley - We will drive for 55 minutes to our first venue. After about 45 minutes its starts getting scenic!
  • Yering Farm Wines - Try 5-6 wines and an incredible Pink Lady Apple Cider at this very small, boutique and family run vineyard.
  • Helen & Joey Estate-Yarra Valley - Incredible views. Laid back type of winery with an incredible range of tastes. From sweet desert wines to sparkling, to unfiltered pinot noirs, to Chardonnay to heavy Shiraz and fortified wines. They even have ‘wine in a can’….a new thing they’ve been trying out! Don’t knock it until you tried it! It’s pretty good!
  • Helen’s Hill Estate - We don’t always go here, but if we do their wines are really good! Arguably the best Shiraz/Syrah in the area.
  • Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery - Here at this very scenic spot, you will have a private tasting of 10-12 chocolates over 25 minutes. You’ll then have time to buy any chocolate you like as well as take advantage of the ice cream section of the factory.
  • Yarra Valley Dairy - Here we supply cheese platters of 3 goats cheeses and 3 cows Cheeses as well as crackers (GF). It’s a quick stop..normally only 20 minutes.. It’s also a cafe and a place you can buy lesser known wines of the Yarra.

We tend to find that we dont regularly go here unless a lot of people want to go on the day. It is very close to a winery we frequently go to and we can occasionally split the group up.

  • Four Pillars Distillery - Here we try 4 of their Gins on a paddle, with tonic or soda to mix with it whilst being told how hey make it in their new impressive distillery. That said, if you don’t like gin or want something else, we can get you any type of drink there. You can even cross the road and we can arrange a private wine tasting at Payton and Jones if you really want to keep the day Wine focused.
  • St Huberts Cellar Door - Here we have lunch. The restaurant is called ‘Quarters’ and is located on St Huberts Estates winery.
The entire menu is QR coded or you can order with wait staff.
Lunch is not included in the price so this would be at your own expense.
The food is incredible here. I would allow anything from 10-40$ here, depending on how hungry you are. There is something for everyone here. Pizzas, burgers, steaks, ribs, vegan dishes, celiac friendly, creative salads,…really nice food!

The venue itself is really impressive and they also have a cellar door to do wine tastings and whiskey tasting, as well as an Indigenous art museum all done by First Nations people around Victoria.

We often split the group up after lunch for those that want to explore the venue…or those that want to try Chandon.

  • Domaine Chandon - Due to this place not really accepting tour groups, we can’t actually generally include drinks here. If we can sense that there are some of the group that reaaalllly want to go to Chandon…what we do is after lunch instead of taking 30m minutes to just relax and enjoy the lunch venue itself, we drive those who want to check out Chandon and essentially leave you there for 30-40 minutes. This is our way around it. So we can do it, but it definitely will be at your own expense and is not included in the price. A little frustrating, but we are literally the only tour that even offers that!

We find all people want to do there is just have a glass and enjoy the scenery anyway, so 30-40 minutes Is plenty of time!

Additional Information

Join us on our casual and communal wine tour, offering a variety of wines, gin, cider, and more, all while enjoying some good humor!

Your day will start with us picking you up. Following this, we create an informal, friendly atmosphere, encouraging everyone to contribute to a Spotify playlist for shared music and fostering conversation during the first hour.

Every tour is unique and influenced by the group’s preferences, discussed every morning. From different wineries, distilleries, a cheese shop, a chocolate factory, cideries, restaurants to breweries, you can choose your venues for the day. Or, if you prefer, leave it up to us— we will select 4 or 5 unique locales, each with its own appeal.

Typically, our itinerary includes two wineries, one restaurant, a distillery, and either a chocolate or champagne spot.

Although lunch is not included in the price, we have arranged for a stop at a restaurant (Quarters) where you can order and pay for your meal and beverages.

Our vehicle is a 24-seat bus, but we only accommodate 10-18 people on each tour to keep it intimate.

  • We do not do Hotel pick ups unless you can meet us on the way the Yarra Valley and it’s not a detour.
  • We do not have space for luggage of any sort.
  • We have 2 vehicles that run this tour. We primarily use a 24 seater bus but purposefully dont fill it up to still give the tour an intimate and small-group feel. We only allow 18 people max book. We also run a second vehicle of 13 seats which is a smaller van. If group size is important to you, please let us know so we can best accomodate you!

Wonderful wine and further experience in the Yarra Valley - The trip was perfect, weather, wine, gin and chocolate could not have been better. And Peter did everything to let us feel comfortable. And that he arranged the cangaroo herds on the way back was the top on the cake.

A great day - Murph was a great host and driver. The range of wineries and the lunch were fantastic. The outward trip was quiet but the homeward trip was much louder with questionable singing.

Excellent tour; great tour guide; family friendly - We did this tour on 18th Apr 2024 with a 3-yr old toddler in tow. The tour guide, Aydin, was fantastic- really knowledgeable and funny. He was also very patient and interacted well with our toddler. We got to sample a nice amount of wines, gins, and chocolate. We had a great time and would highly recommend this tour.

Great tour to wineries. Love the Soumah at Yarra Valley - I traveled solo and got properly tipsy with the wine tour. Murph, our driver was also very friendly during the tour. I did feel a little out of place to be grouped with all the British, but this did not make me rate the tour any less.
