- Healesville Sanctuary - Home to more than 200 species of Australian native animals and set amidst natural bushland, the Healesville Sanctuary is the ideal place to observe our iconic wildlife up close. An enhancement to the visit is a Kangaroo Encounter where you have the opportunity with a keeper to feed and pat these adorable animals (if the animal allows). A Koala Encounter is also available but there’s no touching or feeding involved, just an opportunity to get some amazing up close pictures. An additional fee applies for these encounters . Please advise if you wish to book this.
- Yering Station - You’ll enjoy a tasting of estate and reserve wines in the historic cellar door before adjourning to the modern light filled restaurant for an a la carte, main course meal, glass of wine and coffee.
- De Bortoli Winery - Set on more than 450 acres of vineyard clad hills, the visit to the De Bortoli Vineyard is a terrific end to the day. The wine tasting includes their estate and premium wines together with their iconic dessert wine, Noble One. The tasting is enhanced with a pairing of selected cheeses.

Embark on an intimate group tour, blending Victoria’s globally recognized Yarra Valley wine tasting experience with the observation of local wildlife. Depart from Melbourne on a journey to the Healesville Sanctuary, a refuge created for the preservation of threatened animal species. Spend your morning witnessing the habits of quintessential Australian animals like kangaroos, koalas, emus, and other native species.
Come early afternoon, head over to the Yering Station Vineyard for a delightful main course lunch complemented by wine tasting. The day comes to a close with a cheese and wine session at the De Bortoli Winery.

Great Customer Service - Great customer service before we arrived! We had to change our plans and the changes were made promptly and with care. Our hotel wasn’t on the puck-up list but was added.

Look no further!! - In a word, great. What a beautiful combination of visiting a wildlife shelter and tasting delicious dishes and wines in a luxurious setting. This experience is worth booking and experiencing in everything,
Under the very friendly guidance of our guide Rob, a few hours spent in Healesville Sanctuary. Because of his background as a ranger, he was told a lot of facts.
The wine tastings and lunch were a feast for the senses. Partly because of the amazingly beautiful locations selected for this tour.
Look no further and book this tour!

Must see Yarra Valley Excursion - This tour exceeded our expectations. Healesville Sanctuary provides the opportunity to se local fauna up close. The winery tastings pairs well with the provided lunch and cheese platter. Highly recommend this tour.

Great Raptor show - Saw lots of kangaroos, emu, koala bears and thoroughly enjoyed the morning a leisurely pace. Paul our driver, told us the bird/raptor show was a must do, and he was totally correct. Very fun and worth the time before we left the park

Absolutely fabulous! - Fabulous! I'm so pleased to have booked this tour for my mum and me. My mum is visiting Australia for the first time, and this has been her favourite tour.
Our guide, Rob, is absolutely gorgeous. Very personable and knowledgeable, he kept us entertained and informed while also allowing us some downtime on our own (e.g., at the Sanctuary or napping in the car). The car is fantastic to travel in.
We were lucky to be in the company of other lovely guests with whom we had a great time.
My mum and I loved the tour's structure: it picked us up not too early but timely enough for us to enjoy everything at a nice pace (she isn't fit and walks slowly, needing breaks—she was completely comfortable with the tour program).
The visit to the sanctuary was fabulous, Rob explained to us everything he knew and allowed space for us to tell stories, fostering dialogues, so it was more like hanging out with friends than being on a tour - in a good way.
The fine-dining lunch was sensational - and the location! We are still dreaming of it. Rob never rushed us, and again, by lunch, it all felt like sharing a meal with new friends - it was so lovely and comfortable. Rob played a big part in making sure that everyone felt that way.
The wine-tasting experience was great as well, with beautiful locations and highly experienced staff. I'm not much of a drinker myself but my mum is, and she appreciated the Australian wines so much.
Compared to other tours, this one is not expensive and is worth every cent. I give this tour 5 super stars!

A highly recommended tour - Excellent tour from start to finish. Paul was very communicative and made everyone feel welcome. The guided tour at the Healesville animal sanctuary was great, and we were able to see lots of animals and birds. The wildlife hospital was a highlight and absolutely amazing. Lunch and wine tasting at Yering Winery was superb and of a very high quality. This was followed by cheese and wine pairing at De Bortoli which made a wonderful end to the day. All in all, a highly recommended tour, made especially good by the knowledge imparted by Paul along the way.

Wonderful wines, beautiful countryside - Our trip was great. The sanctuary was amazing. Really enjoyed the bird show. Both wineries were beautiful and really liked the wines. The lunch was delicious. Our guide Rob was superb. He added so many interesting facts and we loved learning about his BFF Spike!!

Amazing Tour! - We had a wonderful time on this tour. Paul’s communication prior to our visit was great and Robert was knowledgeable, fun and one of the best guides we’ve ever had. We only had one day in the Melbourne area and took this tour primarily to visit the Healesville Sanctuary and the time we spent there was amazing. Lunch at Yering Station was very enjoyable as was the visit to De Bortoli Vineyard. We had a great day!
