Great one-day trip from Vienna - I highly recommend this trip if you have a day to spare during your stay at Vienna. The tour guide was there on time to pick us up from the hotel. We were 4 adults and the SUV was comfortable. The drive to Hallstatt was around 3 hours. We absolutely loved Hallstatt. The tour guide was very accommodating and made sure that we were comfortable during the trip. Salzburg was great as well and the tour guide did a great job explaining and answering questions we’ve asked.

Great experience! Must try! - Our tour guide Sam was very enthusiastic and patient. He answered all our questions and made sure the trip became memorable for us. He instantly offered us bottles of water, his car was comfortable and so was the drive. He offered to click pictures for us and even suggested a great place to have lunch at.

Amazing Day - Driver was fun, knowledgeable, reliable , great car and timed it perfectly. . Would highly recommend I’m glad that we have resources in so many places around the world to count on for these types of experiences

Very nice trip - Sam, our guide was the best. Had an amazing experience exploring different cities in Austria. Sam was patient, punctual, and friendly. He went out of his way to make sure I made the most out of my experience. Will definitely recommend to anyone and will be coming back soon!

Amazing Hallstatt, great tour with Mohamad - Gotta book this tour! Mohamad was our guide/driver and he did an amazing job with the history, driving , and telling us where to go and what to do. He picked us up in front of the Park Hyatt at 8:00 sharp. The drive to Hallstätt is not short, but the long drive went smoothly and we were able to experience the Skywalk and the town without any hurry. Hallstatt is one of the most beautiful towns that we have ever experienced! He also made a lunch reservation for us in the town square with a table right beside the lake. Salzberg was also fun and the drive back to Vienna was good. I’m sure it’s tiring doing all that driving and tour guide stuff, and we appreciate the day that we spent with Mohamad. This tour is a must-do!!

Memorable experience - Sam was an excellent guide. He came to pick us up from the apartment on time. He took great care of us throughout the day (umbrella, bottle of water, hand sanitizer, choice of music in the car). He showed us the main points of interest in addition to telling us the best viewpoints to take photos. He was also very patient when we entered the shops. Finally, at the end of the excursion he dropped us off in town at the place where he suggested we continue our visit. As we left, he made himself available for any questions we might have during our stay in Vienna. In short, an excellent guide!

Fantastic day despite the gloomy weather - It was a rainy and cold day but our guide Mohamad did his best to make it memorable. He even supplied us with adorable umbrellas. Great guide,learnt a lot!

An amazing tour with an amazing tour guide! - We had an amazing tour to Hallstatt amd Salzburg. Wesam was the best guide we could have, excellent driver, excellent guy and willing to show us everything he knows. A bit expensive the tour for my opinion but the whole experience was fantastic.

Excellent tour! Sam was great! - This Salzburg to Hallstatt tour was absolutely fantastic! The scenery between the two towns is breathtaking, with the Austrian Alps stretching out in all directions. Hallstatt itself is a fairytale village nestled beside a stunning lake. We had plenty of time to explore the charming streets, admire the colorful houses, and soak up the atmosphere. Salzburg was equally impressive, with its grand architecture and rich musical history. Our guide Sam was very friendly and knowledgeable. The only minor drawback was the size of the tour vehicle. While everything else was excellent, a bit more legroom would have been appreciated for a more comfortable ride.

Horrible Drive in a mid-sized SUV - The local tour company (Lai Tours), who Viator is tied up with, provided a mid-sized SUV for a family of 4 full grown adults. Can you imagine? And that too for a 12-hour trip. Just crazy. That was ridiculous. I had mentioned in my booking to provide a bigger vehicle so that our trip is comfortable and memorable. But no, that never happened. The journey was not at all comfortable and we were all squeezed in the back seat for the entire 12 hours of the tour. People sitting in the back was always trying to bribe the person in front to take a turn to sit in the front (LOL) The driver was super nice, no complaints about him. He was polite, patient and showed us around. But unfortunately, the drive back and forth ruined the entire experience of the tour.
