Highlights
  • Popeye Village Malta - A visit to Popeye Village, originally the film set for the musical production Popeye, is a must on your Malta itinerary. It’s a fantastic spot for kids to meet famous cartoon characters. Located just off Mellieha Bay, it’s an excellent place to visit before, after, or during a day at the nearby beaches and coves, or at the enclosed Anchor Bay, which offers sun beds, umbrellas, showers, bathing areas, splash pools, and a small kids’ area.
  • Ta’ Qali Crafts Village - What you can find at the Crafts in Ta’ Qali

The crafts village in Ta’ Qali is situated in a former RAF wartime airfield and is a popular tourist attraction in Malta. Here, you can find various crafts and beautiful artifacts created by local experts.

You can watch craftsmen blowing and shaping glass, visit goldsmiths creating filigree and beautiful jewelry, and admire stunning sculptures and lace.

  • Mdina Old City - The history of Mdina dates back over 4000 years. According to tradition, it was here in 60 A.D. that the Apostle St. Paul lived after being shipwrecked on the Islands. It is also said that St. Paul resided in the grotto known as Fuori le Mura (outside the city walls), now called St. Paul’s Grotto in Rabat. Lit by lamps at night and known as “the silent city,” Mdina is captivating for its timeless atmosphere and its cultural and religious treasures.
  • Malta National Aquarium - The Malta National Aquarium project spans approximately 20,000 square meters and includes a public aquarium, a landscaped belvedere at promenade level, a multi-story car park, facilities for local dive schools, catering facilities including a beach club, a merchandise outlet, and a tourist information kiosk. The public aquarium features 41 tanks with reptiles, insects, amphibians, and Mediterranean fish, including species commonly found in Maltese waters, along with replicas of historical artifacts found in the seas around the Maltese islands. The main tank houses species from the Indian Ocean, including eight blacktip sharks, horn sharks, rays, eels, and other exotic species. The main tank is about 12 meters in diameter and has a walk-through tunnel for a closer view of the fish. All tanks are expertly themed to replicate the underwater environment.
  • Blue Grotto (Il-Hnejja) - The Blue Grotto is located on the southern coast of Malta, west of Wied iz-Zurrieq, facing the small deserted islet of Filfla. The site was named by a British soldier who thought it resembled the Grotta Azzurra in Capri, and thus deserved the same name. The Blue Grotto attracts around 100,000 tourists annually, also for diving. It was featured in the film Troy (2004) starring Brad Pitt. The natural grotto, combined with sunlight and the surrounding caves, reflects the phosphorescent colors of the submerged flora and the deep blue of the sea.
  • St. Peter’s Pool - St. Peter’s Pool is a fantastic swimming spot, a natural lido in the rocks with large flat areas for sunbathing between swims. Follow the narrow road towards Delimara Lighthouse until you pass the power station chimney (about 1.5km from the main road), and you’ll see a low building on the left with a ‘St Peter’s Pool’ sign.
  • Valletta Waterfront - The Valletta Waterfront is a promenade in Floriana, Malta, featuring three prominent buildings: a church in the middle, the Pinto Stores or Pinto Wharf on the left, and the Forni Stores or Forni Shopping Complex on the right. Originally built as stores and warehouses in the 18th century, the design is attributed to Andrea Belli.

The building project was inaugurated on August 10, 1752, with a grand festivity. The Forni Stores served as the first British naval bakeries in Malta until 1844. Today, the area is a hub for Malta’s cruise liner business, housing the Forni Cruise Passenger Terminal, and is home to numerous bars, retail outlets, and restaurants. It also remains a venue for various concerts and events.

Island tours - your way! - Great day! Driver took our itinerary and mapped it out perfectly. We were able to see everything on our list and had a great recommendation for lunch. He even patiently answered the millions of questions one of our passengers constantly had throughout the day. Highly recommend!

Worth the Trip - Ideal for a group of 4-6. Plan your trip to optimize the 8 hrs by plotting the places you want to visit and run it by the driver so he can map out the road plan. Driver is at your disposal so you can tell him how long you want to stay at a certain location. Kenneth arrived on time to my us up in his Van. He’a very courteous and knowledgeable.

Fantastic day on Malta - This tour was fantastic! I had a list of places to go and our amazing driver/guide, Kenneth, made sure we got to all the places. He had a iPad in the car and prepped us for all the places. Additionally he recommended a great place for lunch on the Dingli Cliffs. The day could not have been better! Thank you!!!

Thanks for the memories! - The 6 of us (ages 14 to 71) had the best day of our 12 day Mediterranean cruise. Our driver was so considerate and eager to show us the very best of Malta in one day. He was very informative and gave us plenty of choices on how to spend our day. When he noticed that I love photography, he made a special stop for another photo opp on our way back to the ship. Thanks for the memories!

Bait and Switch - Our driver Alexander was certainly nice enough but we started out with him being 40 minutes late and blaming parking as the reason. Though limited parking is definitely an issue here, this tour was booked in July and the local company is just that local. They know their is a parking issue and should have been waiting for us not the other way around. The van advertised was a 6-8 passenger van. We got a 5 passenger van. It was not big enough to handle 1 handicapped person and two elderly people with canes. We were stuffed in like sardines. Interestingly enough, when it was time to go back to our ship our driver dropped us off at a local marketplace and when he came to pick us back up he was driving the 6-8 passenger van that was advertised. So, our return to our ship was comfortable…lol. The tour operator promised us snacks, water and an AI virtual tour. None of that was given to us. We were disappointed.

Horrible Viator Malta experience with AI tour - This tour is the most horrible experience of my life. This wasbjust a glorified taxi service with a very rude, arrogant , unhelpful driver( definitely not guide) calles Deo. He gave us no suppport at all. Dis not even give ua rhe Ai guide . He kust droped us off at one point to other, did not even bother to tell us which town we were on on the way back, he was so much in a hurry to pick up his next client that he nearly killed us with his bad driving. He dropped us off at our hotel at 6.10 and boy, we nealy paid for our lives fro running 10mins over. No one muat ever go through this horror that we went through again. I will not trust any viatpr product going forward because of this
