Trip to Valletta- Impressive - The walking tour was fantastic, not strenuous at all. We had a very knowledgeable tour guide who spoke English. She knew a lot of the history of Valletta. Learning about Malta, and seeing St John's Cathedral was so impressive. They have someone pick you up from your hotel and drop you off. I highly recommend staying after the tour for shopping, music, and food take a cab back. Beautiful place. Worth the money.

Beautiful Valletta - Jennifer was an excellent guide and it was a beautiful and well-paced tour in the sunshine showing us the delights of Valletta. A time change, 2 languages rather than just English and replacement in the itinerary - all different to the trip advertised gives this 4 rather than 5 stars

Valletta Walking Tour - We had to do a lot of waiting around at the beginning. We were told to go to the pick up point for 9 but the tour started well after 10.00. The tour guide was very informative, though, and the tour was interesting. Valletta is a spectacular city and well worth a visit.

I enjoyed this trip. The walking... -
I enjoyed this trip. The walking part was very informative. The view from the Upper Barraka Gardens was impressive although we were only given 10 mins to take photos etc. By far the most impressive part was St-Johns Co-Cathedral which was breathtaking and having a headset to listen to the information about the it made it more interesting.

Enjoyable tour - The tour guide (I think her name was Janine?) was knowledgeable and friendly, I think she did a good job and I can recommend her. What was not optimal: - The tour was advertised as containing entry fees to the grandmaster's palace, but we didn't go there. Instead we went to see a "5D" movie about Malta (~15 minutes). - Meeting time was preponed within 24 hours prior to the tour by more than one hour (no problem with that) but then we had to wait for 15 to 20 minutes until someone showed up - There was an unnecessary transport shared with other groups at the beginning from the communicated meeting point to another one. We could have went to the final meeting point on our own if it had been communicated upfront. Apart from that the group size was ok albeit a little big (I think about 27 persons). In crowded places it was sometimes hard to understand the guide - as an improvement I would recommend to provide headsets to the attendees and for the guide to use a microphone. That way the guide can even speak while walking in front and leading the group through the streets. Nevertheless I enjoyed the tour!

Disappointing experience due to failure to comply the predefined schedule - During the last 12 years we were never be disappointed by the tours booked by Viator, but this time we were surprised by the failure to comply the predefined schedule. On Viator site it is mentioned that the walking tour, including the visit of St. Johns's co-cathedral, it contains also a little pass through La Valletta harbor on a traditional harbor boat and an audiovisual show about Malta's history. In stead of that after visiting Barracca Gardens and St. Johns's co-cathedral (were the guide did not accompanied us) our guide sad good-by to us. Actually we have spent with her about 1.5-Hour instead of 3.5-Hour. When we have claimed these discrepancies she told us that maybe we had to go on another tour but she picked-up us from the hotel based on our voucher with a certain booking reference number. She was entitled to accept us or not depending on these coordinates.
