Highlights
  • Reliable Transportation and Tours - Get an early morning start with pickup from your accommodation in Memphis and relax during the 1.5-hour drive across the Tennessee border into Mississippi. On arrival in Tupelo, hop off the coach to see the modest two-room house built by Elvis’ father, where The King was born and raised.

Your two-hour guided tour features major points of interest that Elvis frequented, such as his elementary school, the Assembly of God church where he was exposed to Gospel music, and the soda fountain where he shared drinks with his friends. Hear tales from his childhood and the beginning of his career, such as the time his mother persuaded him to purchase a guitar instead of a rifle at Tupelo Hardware.

At Elvis Presley Birthplace Park, you’ll view a statue of Elvis at 13 years old. See the museum, chapel, a ‘Memphis-bound’ car, and exhibits including the Walk of Life, Fountain of Life, and Story Wall. Admire the views from Elvis Presley Lake before return transport to Memphis.

The best tour guide in Memphis - Amazing tour with a totally awesome guide. Darnell is entertaining and knows his stuff. He made my daughter feel like a princess and she got to play a guitar in the Tupelo hardware store. The day at Tupelo was our favourite part of our trip. If you are undecided, book Darnell, he’s the best !

Elvis Presley Birthplace visit - This was one of the best tours we have taken while visiting Memphis. We learned an awful lot from the tour guides and the bus was very comfortable. We took many pictures to show our friends who always ask why we keep visiting. I will continue to return, everyone we met were very friendly and very helpful. This is a must see!!!!

A Visit To The King's Humble Beginnings - Our tour operator/guide Darnell was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, kind and very funny. I enjoyed going to Johnnie's Drive -In (diner where Elvis frequently enjoyed a doughburger and a RC Cola). It was nice to visit the hardware store in Tupelo where Elvis's mother bought his first guitar. The owner's son currently operates the store. I love visiting the 2-room house in which Elvis was born and lived in until his family moved to Memphis. I enjoyed sitting through a "church service" and the church he attended and influenced him in the area of gospel music.

Join darnell for a great elvis day out - You have to book this tour of tupelo, Darnell is a great host who will take you to see, Elvis's birthplace, Childhoood church, First school Inside the hardware store where he bought his first guitar, Elvis statue at tupelo fairgrounds Dinner at johnnies diner and a chance to sit in elvis's favourite booth for a burger, and a side of graceland you probably wont see on any other tour but i'll leave that as a surprise, at every stop darnell will leave you to take as much time as you want with no rush whatsoever. If you are going to memphis to see the elvis sights then this tour is simply essential to the experience, im so glad i did it and you will be too. Darnell is cetainly " takin care of business"

The cradle of a beautiful story!!! - It was wonderful! To know everything in one place and make sense to the history of NUMBER ONE Rock. A simple house, a church with fervent history and influence in your life. All very well ⁇ ined, clean, wonderful service. A very good store. The Museum can be expanded, more fulfills its purpose. Easy access, good road from Memphis there. It only closes very early, at 4:00.
