The best tour ever! - We loved Lydia's description of all of the details of all of the recording artists. The thought that we could stand in the same recording room as all the greats and even touch the microphone they used was amazing.

Great tour! - This was a great tour to familiarize yourself with the city. Sam was a great tour guide and gave very informative and entertaining information. We were able to watch the ducks at the Peabody hotel, have a tour of Sun Studios (best part of the tour), and then they gave you an hour for lunch or to explore Beale Street. Would highly recommend.

Liz was Excellent - The tour was more than I imagine it to be. Our tour guide Liz was excellent. She knew her stuff and was quite knowledgeable as to the history of Sun. I figured it would be a quick stop and go after a couple pictures. Thank for a neat experience.

Great way to see Memphis. - Our pick up was forgotten about, I phoned the contractor and they apologised sent us a mini bus to pick us up within 5 mins. Fairplay that was great service. 👍 Thankfully we had only missed the introduction. Fantastic trip around the city, Sam our driver had so much knowledge and was great to listen to. Sun studio was something else. Crazy to imagine we were standing were so many amazing musicians stood before. It's was brilliant. We stopped off at the Peabody hotel to watch the duck patade, that was so cute to see. Tome to explore Beale street with all the bars with Fantastic music. I would definitely recommend this trip. Especially if you get Sam as your driver.

Legends of music. - We had already done the Grand Ole Opry, Nashville and Graceland. This really does finish the story. Graham was fantastic at telling the story and guiding us through the tour with laughter, songs and, for me, the occasional tear in my eye. This experience is not to be missed and well worth the visit.

Memphis -A Bust - My friend and I went to Memphis in Sep 2024 and we would NEVER GO BACK OR RECOMMEND IT. We took a Memphis City tour and it was horrible. The tour guide was terrible, excessively loud and pushy. Beale Street was a dump as all the other area of the downtown. The only good thing downtown was the Peabody Hotel. It was gorgeous, once you got inside. Majority of the downtown was closed and boarded up and homeless everywhere. The hotel Laquinta Downtown was good and clean. But they warned us not to go out at night. Even Graceland was a disappointment. Save your money and bypass Memphis all together.

Choose a Different Tour - After having had past GREAT experiences with Viator, this tour was incredibly disappointing. Our tour driver did not cover much geographic area, was not friendly when we got onto the shuttle, and provided minimal information about the Memphis area. The best part of this tour was the visit to Sun Studios. While it was fun seeing the march of the ducks @ the Peabody Hotel, honestly anyone could have walked in off the street to see it - the tour company simply dropped us at the front door. Am sorry that we chose this tour/tour company and would not recommend it.
