High Mountain Mendoza A dream - We did the High Mountain excursion with the company IKATU Travel and the experience was wonderful, we were guided by Ornella who in addition to demonstrating her ability and knowledge made us have a nice experience. We go through all the temperatures, heat in Dique Los Potrerillos and Uspallata, cold in Puente del Inca and snowfall in Las Cuevas...

Tour highlighted by beauty and originality in details that make a difference. - My first time in Mendoza I couldn’t finish so well with this tour to Aconcagua. Apart from Marcos our guide who showed off with history, information and attention to all kinds of details, presented us with a unique moment tasting an exquisite sandwich and a malbec at the foot of the Aconcagua with a luxury company that is the natural landscape of the Andes mountain range. Before we visited Puente del Inca and Potrerillos with their beauties. Just stops and breaks for a tour that starts early and is definitely worth doing.

Geology Field Trip!! - We had so much fun! My cousin and I went with a group of other ladies celebrating the 50th anniversary of the graduation from high school, and they were a hoot! Our guide was fluent in both Spanish and English, and was extremely knowledgeable about the area we toured. I work on complex water supply and water quality issues in the Western U.S., and it was fun to learn how similar issues (reservoir management, dredging, flooding, mining, deep regional groundwater contributions to the runoff flow) are handled upstream of Mendoza. The history of the railroads-government-economics and how it impacted travel and the existence of small towns along the tracks was fascinating. We had clear skies and some snowy mountains on the way up, and a snowstorm chased us back down the mountain after we had a chance to see all the things and eat a satisfying lunch. We had just visited a museum the previous day that showed Darwin's maps of the region (making my geologist heart very happy), so it was great to see the mountains and outcrops he had described. It was perfect.

Super indicate the company - We did not know the company and we hired only by indication and comments on social networks and we really had a great service. Super responsible company, impeccable service and fair prices.

Getaway to Uspallata - Express getaway to Uspallata, amazing views, campsites equipped to go camping. If you go by car there are many roads to see but IMPORTANT the streets are very deteriorated so use caution when driving.

Shady Company - The trip was fine, guide and driver were excellent, but this company plays loose with the rules. After I paid for the trip, I was informed that I would have to pay an additional amount for “lunch.” That additional amount was $30USD, which, it turns out, was the price of a bowl of risotto and a small glass of wine. When I questioned the amount, I was told that they “upgraded” the trip and that was why they added the charge for lunch. Shady company, and I paid, but wasn’t happy about it.
