A Peaceful Ride into the Stunning Andes - We enjoyed a tranquil ride into the serene Andes Mountains. The trip was well-organized. The horses were gentle and well-trained. Even a first-time rider would feel comfortable on these horses. We rode through valleys, along ridges, and crossed streams. The list of what to pack was helpful, as the weather changes quickly at the high altitude. The gaucho host, Daniel, prepared amazing asado beef for lunch in the mountains. What a wonderful experience to be in the quiet wilderness with expert guides.

Horseback riding in the Andes Mountains. - We had an incredible experience horseback riding with Pablo. Probably the best excursion we had on our trip. Views were spectacular and the outdoor gaucho lunch in the mountains was so unique. Highly recommend Andes Vertical.

Overall great experience. - I loved this tour. Our guide, Agustin was amazing and we had a great time. The horses were extremely well trained (I barely had experience with horses and they I felt comfortable). Also, the food was amazing and the wine was fantastic. Beautiful breathtaking views while you ride on horse back. Anyone traveling to the Mendoza area should consider this activity.

Authentic gaucho experience - Don Daniel has amazing experience riding horses and knowledge of the area. They are the best trained horses I’ve ever been on. Combined with the picturesque landscape and amazing lunch, it was an unforgettable experience.

Perfection in everything - Perfectly organized adventure. If I could put six or even ten stars I would. The entire horse riding goes through the mountains with super spectacular views. The horses are well trained and don’t require the rider’s involvement. Simply enjoy and make pictures. Don Daniel is the king of BBQ. The meat he cooked for us in mountains easily beats fancy restaurants in Mendoza. So the entire tour was like to win Stanley Cup and Olympics on the same day.

Unforgettable - My partner and I had Mateus as our guide for the day. We were blown away by the experience. You will not regret this booking - a gorgeous view of the Andes, friendly horse and the best Asado to date, courtesy of Gaucho Daniel!

Awesome Horseback Riding in the Andes Outside Mendoza - The driver picked me up on time. We drive over excellent highways, with a photo stop to the horse ranch. Horses were tacked up when we arrived. Saddles are.like US Western but with a metal handle. Stirrups are a leather “boot” insert your shoe. Both reins are held in the same hand. Riding helmets were available. about a dizen riders in our group including guides. Horses are small, responsive and know the trail. We rode single file and at a walk, down hillsides, across shallow Andean streams and along ridges. Andean condors circled overhead. views are awesome. horses sre sure footed, carefully picking their way down and up the rocky and gravel inclines. At times we entered a cloud mist, at others, the sun peeked out. After an hour and a half we stopped a camp fire where the Gaucho was roasting meat, pork and beef. As it was ready, he made delicious “churi-pan” open face sandwiches with a slice of tomato and optional cheese on top. Water, soft drinks and wine to drink. A group of hikers joined us. They had three dogs along with them for safety. earlier on the trail, the dogs spotted a guanaco, ran after it and took it down. While unusual, dogs will go after a guanaco unless it is weak or can be cornered, Some of our group spotted a puma in the hills. The hour and a half or so ride back, with a couple of view stops, was pleasant. I am impressed with the professionalism of and highly recommend Andes Vertical.
