Additional Information

Embarking on the Private Full-Day Tour: Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, Jatiluwih and Tanah Lot Temple is a popular choice for those looking to discover the hidden gems of Bali’s northwest region. The expedition commences from your accommodation, from where you will be transported to the Taman Ayun Temple. This sacred site is uniquely established on an elevated plateau, encircled by tranquil waters. The journey then takes us to the Ulun Danu Beratan Temple, an astonishing sight as it gives off an impression of being a floating sanctuary when the lake water level rises.

You will enjoy a delightful lunch at a local restaurant, located in the vicinity of the temple. After a satisfying meal, our journey continues as we visit the vibrant Candikuning Market. After immersing ourselves in the hustle and bustle of the market, we’ll head to the Angseri Hot Spring. This hot spring, filled with therapeutic water, once served as an ancient bathing location. We then proceed towards the Jatiluwih Rice Terrace, a spectacular backdrop of endless terraced rice fields climbing the slopes of a mountain. As we head into the twilight, our last destination is the Tanah Lot Temple. This spiritual icon sits on an irregular reef plain, boasting a single, stark yard known as Jeroan.

Amazing tour! - Learning the history of the temples was very interesting. Tanah lot was the coolest one and we arrived just in time for the sunset. There’s many shops around to buy souvenirs as well. You will have to cover your knees to tour the temples but you don’t need to cover your shoulders because you aren’t allowed inside the temples. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable!

First Class Experience - This full day tour is a must if you want to see Balinese temples and some of the inner countryside of the island. Unlike some tours that promise to be a full day and have you back in your hotel by 1600, this excursion is laid back and unhurried. You have as much time as you need visiting the temples, the market and the rice plantation. A special mention to our guide Nyoman who couldn’t be more helpful and took the time to explain the different elements of Balinese culture. A very worthwhile day out.

Fantastic tour by our guide Yuda! - Amazing day out with our guide Yuda, who was excellent and knowledgeable throughout. Highlight was actually the visit to the coffee plantation and the hot springs. Whilst the temples are worth visiting, be aware they are massive tourist traps. You can’t move for people. Overall a fantastic trip made all the better by Yuda!

Great variety: temples, farm visits, hot spring! Great driver/tour-guide! - We loved the tour with driver Gusti Eka! He gave us a lot of interesting information about Bali. He is a very knowledgeable tour guide and even acted as our family photographer for the day. On the way to the temples he brought us to a chocolate factory and a coffee farm, where we could stroke a Luwak, a type of mongoose. Normally, we don‘t really like going to tourist shops, but the coffee tasting with the Luwak was the highlight of our day. Visiting a hot spring was another great point of the trip. Gusti Eka is a very safe driver, we felt we were in good hands even on some scary Balinese roads. We would book this again any time!

Full Day Tour of Bali— Land of temples - We got to see ancient temples in Bali. However, the guide did not go in explain or go in detail on the history of the ruins or temples. He literally bought the tickets for us, gave a short review of the ruins and left us to explore. Would love some background information on the temples that we were touring.
