If you’re staying in Athens and seeking an excursion outside of the city for a day, this adventure is ideal for you. We take you to Andros, a Cycladic island known as the second-largest and most verdant among the Cyclades. The journey begins from Rafina port; hop on the ferry and within two hours, you’ll be on the enchanting Andros island. The tour then takes us across the island, passing through the towns of Gavrio and Batsi, until we reach Paleopoli, our initial halt. From an elevated view, you’ll see the ancient Andros capital and get a glimpse of its historical remains. The trip continues to Menites village, where you will come across the lion springs and walnut forest, along with a surprise awaiting you. Afterward, we visit Pithara waterfalls, a unique spectacle for a Cycladic island. We then venture to Foros Cave, a small yet captivating cave. The grand finale of the tour brings us to Chora, the modern capital of Andros.
