• Catedral Católica de Puyo - Nuestra Señora del Rosario de Pompeya - Upon our arrival in the city of Puyo around 10:20 am, we’ll embark on a leisurely walk from the bus terminal to the heart of Puyo, covering approximately 1.6 km in 20 minutes. This stroll will take us through the most significant streets of the city, providing a firsthand experience of its vibrant atmosphere and allowing us to delve into its rich history.

As we meander through the bustling streets, you’ll have the opportunity to absorb the local culture, observe daily life, and interact with the friendly residents. Along the way, our guide will share intriguing stories and historical anecdotes about Puyo, shedding light on its development, cultural heritage, and the diverse communities that contribute to its tapestry.

• Malecón Puyo - we’ll continue our exploration by visiting Obrero. This neighborhood offers a unique insight into the local way of life, providing a contrast to the more central areas of the city. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the authentic daily routines of the residents and gain a deeper understanding of the cultural fabric of Puyo.
  A pleasant walk along the malecón (boardwalk) awaits us, providing stunning views of the authentic Amazonian vegetation that lines the riverbanks.
• “Centro Turistico Gringo Yaku” - In Gringoyacu, our journey takes an enchanting turn as we cross the river aboard an artisanal canoe to reach the heart of the community. Upon arrival, a warm welcome awaits us, accompanied by a refreshing drink of guayusa, an invigorating tea derived from a fascinating plant.

Within the community, we’ll delve into the profound knowledge of local flora and discover the rituals that form an integral part of their daily practices. This immersive experience provides a unique opportunity to connect with the essence of Gringoyacu and gain insights into the community’s sustainable way of life.
