Wonderful and fun tour with Pepe and Jose! - We were 2 families of 3 young boys aged 10-12 staying at the Westin in Cancun. It was a one day tour to Chichen Itza, swim in a canote, buffet lunch and El Bakram. Our tour guide was named Pepe and our driver was Jose. The tour started right on time with our friendly guides. Pepe’s English is impeccable. During our entire tour, he was prepared with a lot of facts and information about the things we saw and historical events about the places. He was also prepared for questions and was very respectful with our kids questions too. They gave us a great tour of each location then gave us a lot of leisure time to discover the attractions on our own. This was much appreciated by our group. Our lunch suggestion at a renovated Hacienda restaurant was such a treat. The Mexican food tasted very authentic (to us tourist!) but we really enjoyed new dishes and suggestions from Pepe. Delicious lunch buffet which would please anyone as there was enough variety to satisfy even the most discerning of taste. The Hacienda was adjacent to the canote so it made it so convenient to go for a swim after lunch. Again, Pepe and Jose gave us enough time to enjoy our lunch and swim. He stayed close to ensure we were safe but allowed us time to ourselves to do what we wanted. Our trip to El Bakram was such a treat. Pepe was a great guide and we enjoyed the facts and history about the place he shared with us. Jose was an excellent driver and got us safely home at the end of a very long day. It started to pour down on us on the way home and Jose slowed down for safety and made us all feel very confident. We would highly recommend this tour with Pepe and Jose to anyone. Mucho gracias!

Best Trip in the Yucatan Peninsula - This is by far one of the best trips offered in the Yucatan. We got to experience everything! From the majestic ruins of Uxmal with its impressive architecture and off-the-beaten path feel (we were only 2 out of 10 people in the whole site), to the colonial streets of Merida (where we stayed at a beautiful colonial hotel blocks away from the main square), to the world wonder that is Chichen Itza, to swimming in one of the best cenotes ever, this trip was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our guide/driver was Abram was so knowledgeable and so patient. Not only did he shows us things we could have missed (like another set of ruins in Chichen Itza), to making sure we captured every detail in our photographs (he took us to the best spots). I highly recommend this tour! You'll not be disappointed and will rave about to your family and friends.

The Mayan past made real - Our family of 5 recently took a private tour with our guide Pepe and driver Moises. Though it was based on a recommended tour route, Pepe and his team were very flexible with our desired route and things we wanted to see. We went to Ek Balam, then Mayapan, then stayed the night at a hotel near Uxmal. We saw Uxmal on the morning of the second day. The plan had been to go next to Kabah, but it was closed and we didn’t find out till the last minute. Also Dzibichultun near Mérida was closed, so we spent a nice few hours in Mérida for some shopping. Then a late lunch at Izamal to climb a pyramid in the town and see the convent there before powering it back to Puerto Morelos. All of us were impressed with Pepe’s knowledge about not only the Maya civilizations (which I myself already knew a lot about, and he taught me a lot!) but other local history as well. The way he integrated these stories into the trip was amazing. Also, engaging questions with him brought out even more. For those wondering, Pepe speaks absolutely perfect English. Not only that, but he set up our hotel, all of the admissions to the sites, and restaurant reservations at authentic places with local cuisine. He and Moises made it a special and customized experience for us, down to the side of the road stops for smoked meat and pitaya (dragonfruit). I can’t recommend this group enough. We will absolutely be back for another customized adventure to see more things.

Unforgettable tour of Mexico - Since our tour operator let us sit completely (FTI) we have searched for an alternative to still have the opportunity to visit the Mayan sites.Mayan Tours actually made it possible to organize the tour as a small group of only 3 people. Our tour guide had absolutely great knowledge about the Mayan sites and has always had an answer to all questions. There were really wonderful 2 days that you can only recommend with this event. Because there is the whole price / performance relationship. We thank Pepe for his perfect support and Abraham for the perfect execution of the tour. Organizer has the predicate highly recommended !!!

Excellent tour - The tour was impeccably organised and our driver/guide (Abraham) was very knowledgeable and a great guy. Pick up was on time and the minibus was clean and airy, which was good as there is a lot of travelling on both days. Merida is an interesting city and the sites at Uxmal and Chichen Itza simply incredible. The lunches provided were good but note you have to pay for your own dinner on day 1 and breakfast on day 2

Excellent highly recommended. - This tour of Uxmal, Merida, Izamal and Chichen Itza was excellent value and great fun.The guide (Abraham) who was very knowledgable and helpful, picked us up punctually in a spotless and clearly well maintained minibus. There were no extraneous sales stops at 'Carpet Weavers' or other local artisans, and the tour never felt rushed.DAY 1Uxmal is much quieter, but just as impressive as Chichen Itza, and so felt much more intimate. There was ample free time to explore Merida, and the hotel was excellent.DAY 2Izamal is very pretty and makes a fabulous coffee break, whilst Chichen Itza itself is unmissableOverall excelkent and highly recommended.
