Wonderful Trip - It was a long day but our guide Delio made the trip very enjoyable. He took great care of the group and explained the history and mysteries of Chichen Itza and the Mayan culture very well.

Fun time on this excursion - Our guide was so good. I don't how to spell his name, but it sounded like air-men. He was so knowledgeable. He went the extra mile to be sure everyone was happy and comfortable. He even dropped us off at our hotel! The private cenote and lunch was epic. The van was actually quite comfortable and had air conditioning. We got there early and avoided the long lines at the entrance! Book this excursion, you won't be sorry. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

10/10 - Hernan was an amazing guide! He was kind enough to help me get to the meeting point since I was unable to find an Uber at such an early time. Once we arrived to the ruins, he gave explanations and some background history. We then went to the home of a local family to eat their delicious homemade food. The cenote we were supposed to go into had no lighting so Hernan offered us a back up plan and we were all willing to go to another cenote. The group was very flexible. If you book a tour and can request a guide, definitely book with Hernan.

Even better than I expected! - BOOK THIS TRIP! I booked on short notice and chose because of the many high reviews. After my wonderful day I can see why! Of course Chichen Itza was magical, but what really made the day special was driver/guide Delio! He was right on time at 5:50 am so we were early at the park. He already had my ticket for me so I was able to skip the ticket line and I was literally the first person in the park! I have fabulous photos with no people in them, hah! The cenote experience was even better than I had hoped since it was on private property, we swam with only a few people while the owner family prepared a tasty lunch. We enjoyed Izamal as well. But Delio and his happy positive attitude made the day perfect. I also appreciate the communication with the operator as there were a few messages back and forth prior as the pick up point needed adjustment due to festival closures downtown. All in alll a perfect day!

Amazing!! - We were the first through the gates at Chichen Itza…beautiful! And it was really nice to spend time before it got crowded. The Cenote and lunch were absolutely one of the best experiences I had in the Yucatan!

Absolutely Great Experience!! - Hernan, our tour guide and driver, was tremendous. He got us to Chichen Itza early enough to be at the head of the line when it opened. This meant that we saw the site before the hordes arrived. We got pictures without people in the way and also saw much of the site before the temperature heated up. Hernan was energetic, knowledgeable and fun to spend time with. We then had the distinct pleasure to go to a private (and fabulous) private cenote. What a treat! We were then also treated to a private scrumptious lunch at the cenote by the proprietors, a multi-generational Yucatecan family. So much fun! We then stopped in Izamal for an hour visit to the "yellow city." All in all, it was a long day but a fantastic day. All credit goes to Hernan for his organization, passion and knowledge for making this a wonderful experience.

Mis-hap by tour company ruined my entire day. - I can honestly say that I dont know how this tour wouldve been but I went to the meeting place at 5:50am (meeting time was supposed to be 6am) as instructed and waited for a tour that never happened. I called the tour company around 645am and they said they did not have a tour scheduled for this day. The gentleman at the tour office took my name and had me hold while he found my reservation (which I had made many months prior) and stated that "oops he found it, they must have missed it & they would refund my money back". This left me without a full day tour of one of the main attractions for the area. I had other tours planned for all the other days already so I was really upset by their "oops". Tip to others: please reach out to each tour company at least a day or two prior to your tour day to confirm your reservation. I learned this the hard way regardless of how far in advance that I booked this place.
