Highlight of our trip - Carlos was an amazing tour guide. Seriously he went above and beyond and was very knowledgeable and comical the whole trip. Everything went better than we could expect. We went on a Monday they picked us up from our hotel real easy no hassle. Thought it was gonna be a boring drive but Carlos made the trip go by pretty quick with his knowledge and jokes. The Buffet was good i got up for seconds then again for thirds. Luckily us going on a Monday Chichen Itza was not packed at all we actually got a few pictures without anyone in the background. Carlos made it very clear that if u got bored during the tour you can separate and take pictures or stay and continue never felt like i was stuck somewhere i didnt want to be. We were 5 minutes late to the meet up but he wasnt upset at all was just glad he found us. Then we went to the Cenote and it was amazing probably my favorite part. Water was not cold life jackets were provided for only 2$ USD. Very refreshing after a hot day. The drive back was relaxing i think we were all burnt out from the day and it was pretty quite. Slept amazing that night and it was the highlight of our trip. Big Thanks to Carlos and our driver Jairo for getting us there and back safe. (i think thats how u spell it). Would recommend to all my friends.

Great Chichen Itza experience! - We had a wonderful time! Galo was great and made this a day to remember. We enjoyed learning the history of Chichen Itza and eating the Mayan buffet which was delicious. I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about seeing Chichen Itza

Chichen Itza and Cenote Samaal - Great trip and worth it. Was a super long day, literally spent more time riding in the bus than in the Cenote 1 hours or at Chichen Itza 2 hours. Loved the little Short visit to Valladolid definitely not long enough to dive into the city's history and culture.

Frustrating, disappointing experience. - Unfortunately, deeply disappointing experience. The focus of the tour was to take us to places where they sell you stuff. Chichen Itza and cenote are the magnet. But the real focus is on spending time in places, where you can buy souvenirs, crafts, tequila and other things. I took us over 6 hours after pick up from the hotel to actually get to Chichen Itza. The tour guide said on several occasions that " due to government restrictions and Covid, the time limit allowed at the historic site is only 90 minutes. ". It turns out it was not only not true ( confirmed with several other guides in park and at the ticket sales office at the park), but we were told to stick with the guide, who at a very slow pace covered only about 25% of the sights. We were rushed back to the van, where some ladies were waiting for us and selling on board tequila. Cenote was rushed as well, but at Mayan " village", which is nothing else that souvenir store, with mediocre lunch at best, we spent almost 2 hours. Frustrating experience. I do not recommend this trip, save yourself the time, money, disappointment and rent a car, especially if it's 2 or more of you. The roads are excellent, and it is easy to navigate all the venues.
