Excellent tour to cenotes - Mr. Andres Gabriel it’s a real tour guide and an excellent historian, regarding Mayan and Spanish culture! With more than 30 yrs. Of experience, has gone to university and got degree for history, You’re in for a real treat if he is your tour guide. The rest of Staff amazing our Driver(Don’t remember his name-my apologies) Mr. Benito from the 3rd. Cenote on this tour, he was also very respectful, attentive and a good teacher of the Mayan culture, the environment and how they care for the cenotes.
Thank you!
I’ll come back and hire this Co. Again.

Educational & Super Fun! - Learning about the Mayan history from the most amazing super proud & passionate tour guide Gero. The trip was educational & fun throughout!
It was refreshing to not be a part of overly touristy trip. We had the ruins to ourselves, weren’t rushed at any point from any activities. Abundance of knowledge by the guide on ruins & cenotes & yucatan culture.
Cenotes were beautiful & again not crowded with other tour groups.
We ended our day with traditional dinner with the family at one of the cenotes. The food was delicious, hosts were kind & gracious.
Highly recommend this tour if you want to learn & enjoy the sites in peace!

Sisal, Yucatán an escape to relax - Traveling alone can sometimes be scary, especially if you are a woman, but in Yucatan everyone is very friendly, they make you feel comfortable and safe, I went to Sisal by public transport, it is very economical but it takes an hour longer to get there, you have to take One goes from Merida to Hunucma and from there another to Sisal. The food is delicious, it is a very quiet magical town to relax in, there are no bars or nightlife places. Sisal is for resting and de-stressing, the "magico tours" tours are pleasant and accessible, the guide is very attentive and professional, they gave me a tour alone and they explained everything to me, seeing the flamingos on the barge is one of the best experiences
The sea is beautiful in the morning, in the afternoon the wind gets strong and stirs up a lot of sand and itch, you have to go to the sea early

Informative an mesmerizing tour. - We throughly enjoy this tour, it started a little later than scheduled but overall it was great, our guide Samuel was funny and knowledgeable, the ruins have great views and the cenotes were impressive, specially the first one, I wasn’t expecting the trip between the three to be so adventurous (you had to get in this kinda safari kind a vehicle) with so many bumps but was part of the experience, and to finish a fabulous dinner with salbutes made right there in site.

Fun water experience 🤗 - Cenotes were beautiful, but cold water. Still a great experience 😅. Mayapan ruins were interesting, but extremely hot so glad we had the Cenotes to go to afterwards.

Incredible experience! - The tour was amazing! Sammy was our guide. He talked the perfect amount, providing great info and funny jokes but not over explaining either. The van was comfortable and had the AC going the perfect amount. The ruins were beautiful and so interesting. We were basically the only people there! It’s such a special experience to be able to go in and on the ruins. The cenotes were also extremely beautiful and very Intresting as they’re all basically covered / cave cenotes. The meal at the end of the day was some of the best food we’ve had in Mexico so far! Well worst your money. A beautiful day.

Good tour with a few hiccups... - It was a good tour of the cenotes as well as the Mayapan archeological site. Both my wife and I enjoyed swimming in the cenotes and visiting the Mayapan archeological site. We also enjoyed the traditional Maya dinner, after our cenote experience. The drive was long and our guide was just "meh". Every time I attempted to engage him in conversation regarding info on Mayapan or anything else, he acted as it was such a hassle--and never quite answered. However, the overall experience was well worth the price. I'd recommend this tour if you don't have a vehicle at your disposal, otherwise, you're probably better off doing it on your own.

Tour was disappointing - Before you consider booking this tour, I strongly recommend waiting until Mayapan reopens. The alternative, Acanceh, didn't live up to expectations. Overall, we found the tour to be disappointing for the following reasons:
Cons:
-Despite requesting an English-speaking guide, our guide had limited English proficiency, making communication quite challenging. Additionally, our guide was absent for the majority of the tour, leaving us without a means to ask questions.
-Regrettably, we didn't get to see any ruins. Although we stopped at Acanceh, we weren't given the opportunity to explore the small ruin there.
-Be prepared for a significant amount of driving. Approximately half of the tour is spent on a bus.
Pros:
-Two out of the three cenotes were exceptionally beautiful.
-On a positive note, the lunch provided at the end of the tour was truly amazing.
Overall this tour is not worth the money.

Don't book this tour. You might show up and nobody will be there. - We would not recommend booking this tour. We showed up early on the day of the tour and was informed that the tour already left 4 hrs earlier without letting us know. More details below:
We booked this tour via Tripadvisor three months ago. The day before our tour (12/16/23), we received text messages from 'Stap Travel Tours by Viator' with introductory details stating that our tour would start tomorrow (12/17/23) at 11:45am at the "Tours Sol Turquesa" office. We arrived early to the office and the receptionist informed us that the tour already left at ~8am, and that somebody should have contacted us the night before to tell us about the change. When we asked the receptionist why she or "Tours Sol Turequesa" didn't contact us, she said that they did not have our contact info - and that they only 'manage' the tours.. they don't actually provide the tour nor are they affiliated with 'Stap Travel Tours by Viator.'
