Wonderful boat tour. We... - Wonderful boat tour. We saw many birds and flamingos. Swimming in the ocean was great. The only negative was the seating in the van. We were sitting in the back. Very cramped and no view.

Amazing experiences! - We did two recent tours with Viajes Colibri: Celestun, and Oxkintok/Mucuyche. Both were great experiences. This is an incredibly professional, well-run company that takes care of all the details. Book with confidence.

A beautiful way to see the flamingos - A lovely outing. The bus was modern and air conditioned, the guides very friendly and well informed. The provided a delicious hot lunch in a restaurant right on the beach. Be sure to take your own water and water shoes or tevas woukd be a good idea.

Good experience to see flamingos - A good tour with plenty of free time. We enjoyed spotting lots of birds - including flamingos - during the boat ride. Lunch at Tia Candi's was nice and close to the beach. Tour guide Annel and driver Roman were both friendly and professional.

Celestun Beach Excursion FUN even w/out the Sun - Even on a colder overcast day, the excursion was lovely. If you like being on the water, seeing animals and experiencing new places, then this is a great option.

Excellent tour! We saw... - Excellent tour! We saw flamingos, enjoyed the boat ride through the mangroves, had a delicious meal of grilled fish at the beach where we could swim after lunch. Our guide was well informed and entertaining. If you go on the tour, request a seat at the front of the van because 4 people were crammed in the back of the van where there were no windows (so no view), no head space, poor airflow and cramped conditions. The company should have ordered a larger bus, based on the anticipated numbers.

Amazing but van needs refiguring! - The guide was experienced and enthusiastic. The driver was very conscientious. The downside was the bus has a four seater at the back of the bus. Being the last pick up my husband, who is 6’4 had to manage in the back with two others. This cannot happen on our next visit on Tuesday 13. The guide should have done a something about that. There should not be a back row with zero visibility and others controlling the air conditioning. That part was unbearable. All the rest was amazing. Cornelia& Terrence Macdonald, Canada

Make sure you're on a boat with a guide who speaks english - Beautiful area to see birds. We were placed in a boat of mostly Spanish speakers and didn't understand most of what the driver/guide shared. Birds are more active earlier in the day, so it would be a good idea to have a puck up at least 1 hour earlier. We had lunch on a beautiful beach with time to explore. The food was well prepared and tasty and their kitchen was very clean.
