Lovely out-of-the-ordinary activity for everyone - The embroidery class with Mayra was a lovely and meditative experience. Her warm support made the learning process enjoyable and fulfilling. Despite not speaking much English (Google Translate will be a good companion), her warmth and enthusiasm made me feel comfortable and eager to learn. Her ability to communicate the history and technique, despite the language barrier, was delightful. If you can, ask her about her photography and other artistic endeavors, she’s a talented woman! One slight warning – it can be difficult to locate her house. It’s at the corner and she has banners on the gate. We were confused by the numbering and didn’t walk far enough along the block at first. I highly recommend taking a class with Mayra. The combination of her expertise, the comprehensive materials provided (pattern selection, hoop, needles, thread), and the engaging atmosphere make it an unforgettable experience. I'm looking forward to completing my project and trying out something larger.

Great experience - I love this workshop! I learned the technique, I didn’t finish my work but I could continue back at home as they gave me all the materials to continue! I am doing other works at home!
