Lots of authentic dishes. - Giselle was very charming and informative. She did a wonderful job of picking the variety of authentic dishes. Be prepared to eat lots of food. Highly recommended.

Worthwhile market food tour! - The market was fascinating! Interesting well chosen tidbits and more. Really almost too much to eat! Our guide Luz was charming, patient, answered all our questions and great to be around. The “hole-in-the-wall seafood joint away from the market was superb and so unexpected.

Diego knows all these products (and the whole market knows Diego!), explains them perfectly , he is warm , pedagogue and very attentive , after the visit he sends a summary of the visit and recipes ...

Gisell was quite charming... - Gisell was quite charming and informative. Ate wonderful culturally relevant foods from amazing fruits to pork bellly to ceviche to deserts to foods that I can’t pronounce the names.

This was a great way to... - This was a great way to start our vacation in Merida. The city is full of amazing places to eat and this tour helped us to understand what was unique to the region and the complexity of the cooking and flavors. Highly recommended.

Excellent food tour - Luz was a super knowledgeable and very kind guide. She introduced us to various vendors at the market who prepared generous food portions of various fruits and vegetables, tacos, cochinta bibil and numerous other yucatan specialties. We also had delicious ceviche at a local restaurant for lunch and ended the tour with gelato for dessert. Without her guidance, we would not have tasted some of these delicious foods, which we will now definitely incorporate into our travel foods. We were very lucky to be the only 2 participants, allowing time for good conversation and many questions that Luz answered during our tour. Can highly recommend and would do it again.

Walking tour of the food of Mérida - The tour was really well organised and provided an excellent array of local delights. Especially the empanadas. 😋 Our guide Diego was very knowledgeable and made the tour a combination of the history of the city and the foods of the area. All in all an excellent experience that I would highly recommend.

Great food tour! - We had a great food tour with Luz and would highly recommend. Luz met us on time and was very friendly. She did a great job taking us from location to location and explaining what the different food items were. We also were able to try the base items like spices, spice mixtures, fruits and vegetables that made up the recipes so we really learned a lot about the food as well. Luz also sent a follow up email naming the different things we tried. I would highly recommend!
