Proper Mexican food - Lovely relaxed and informative wander around two of Merida’s main markets with Zulma including lovely local dishes and people. Fantastic induction into Mexican food culture. Two kids (10 and 7 easily) catered for. We did this at the very beginning of our holiday and it gave me so much confidence to just stroll into any mercado and just get stuck in. Also , so many places I just would have walked past as I would not have thought they were even open. Amazing experience!

Such a great tour - Our tour guide Luz was awesome. The tour was super fun and interesting (and also delicious- everything we ate was excellent). We learned a lot and had a really good time. It’s hard to find something that ticks boxes for everyone as a family tour but the adults and a 17, 15 and 11 year old all really enjoyed it. Gracias Luz!

Amazing Food & Market Tour - We really enjoyed our food tour. It was only our group of 3 and it was great walking around the market & Meria with our guide Gisell who explained all kinds of different foods that we tasted. At the market what is great is that you don’t only get to try tacos and fruits, but also a Habanero cream & marmelade, different pastes and traditional candies. Really recommend it!

Great tour for foodies - This tour is wonderful! We started out at 10:30 and finished up around 2:00 and it was worth every single minute. This tour was run by Adventure Mexico and our guide Zulma was great! She was knowledgeable and lots of fun. We tried multiple foods and a variety of beverages. This activity is a fabulous way to sample Yucatan foods, spices, snacks and drinks. Absolutely excellent!

Excellent thanks Gisell - Excellent. This tour is highly recommended when you are in Mérida. The guide Gisell we had did an excellent job. The tour is well put together, you get a good explanation about everything and there is then plenty to taste and a lot of variety. The duration of the tour is also excellent. Afterwards you will receive excellent tips via email.

Best food tour ever - We did several food tours in the last years , but this was definitely the best. Our guide Diego Hernandez made this a very special experience. he is a well-traveled and experienced gentleman with a passion for the local culture and food. We had at least five different styles of tacos et al, the best ceviche in a hidden place, and crowned everything with Michelin stared ice cream. Overall the highlight of our stay in Merida.

Great tour, delicious and interesting - Great tour with a wide variety of tasting possibilities and information. Everything from fruits to Mexican specialties made from fish and meat was there.
