Additional Information

Discover, with our expert guides, a hidden Mayan city believed to be the birthplace of the “Puuc” style, featuring buildings adorned with intricate fretwork and masks. This city was as significant as Uxmal and Chichen Itzá and even includes a ball court. Our journey continues with a visit to the artisan town of Bécal, where skilled hands craft traditional Jipi Japa hats. These elegant items are made in a cave, as the humidity is essential for properly weaving the hats and other formal garments. Finally, we’ll visit a cenote to cool off and enjoy a refreshing swim.
