A review from February 15, 2025, highlights the exceptional experience:
Amazing Uxmal and more - Viajes Colibri did a great job, the van was very comfortable, and our guide, Mauricio, was exceptional. Uxmal is amazing and beautiful. Kabah was even better mainly because we had it nearly all to ourselves. The Story of Chocolate was very tourist, but still educational. You will see cacao pods on the trees if you keep your eyes peeled. There are also howler monkeys and two rescued jaguars. (Reviewed at: 2025-02-15)

Fantastic ruins - Guide was very knowledgeable. An amazing experience to see the Mayan ruins. Over the years we have been to Chichen Itza and Ek Bakam. This site is as good. Well worth the trip. (Reviewed at: 2025-01-19)

A review from January 22, 2025, captures the magic of the region:
Hummingbird exceeded all expectations - The excursion to Kabah and Uxmal was extraordinary. The service offered by Hummingbird was unparalleled from start to finish. The information provided by Liu and Osiris was clear and complete. The van transport was super comfortable. Our driver, Diego, drove us from one site to another safely. The explanations of our guide, Annel, were also very clear. She knows the territory and history of the Maya very well. She even taught me a few words. The meal provided was very good. The chocolate museum is really good. The information is interesting and well presented. The hot chocolate tasting was delicious. The museum is located in a reserve that houses several animals (monkeys, jaguars, crocodiles) that we have seen up close. The distribution of time was great. We came back a little later than expected, but we really loved our excursion and we highly recommend this agency. (Reviewed at: 2025-01-22)

Must Do If Staying in Mérida - This tour is a must do if you’re staying in Mérida. Uxmal is utterly breathtaking. It is an expansive site that sprawls out over a large area and has some of the most detailed and intricate structures we have seen in the Yucatan. The main pyramid is massive, the quadrangle is stunning, and everywhere you go you find yourself in awe. Kabah is even more of a hidden gem, as there are very few people even there! This site is also beautiful and has some fantastic reliefs and carvings and multiple impressive structures. Our guide was fantastic, and the entire trip was totally worthwhile!
