Fantastic ruins - Guide was very knowledgeable. An amazing experience to see the Mayan ruins. Over the years we have been to chichen itsa and Ek Bakam. This site is as good. We’ll worth the trip

An Uxmal Journey Back In Time - The tour guide was friendly, communicative, energetic, passionate and knowledgeable. All services and experiences listed were provided and it was well worth the money and didn’t feel rushed. Pick-up was prompt and check-in was smooth. It was fun to see the ruins and learn about some of the archaeology site history/Mayan history. I would definitely take a tour with the company who ran this tour in the future when I visit Mexico again. It was very professional and memorable.

Must Do If Staying in Mérida - This tour is a must do if you're staying in Mérida. Uxmal is utterly breathtaking. It is an expansive site that sprawls out over a large area and has some of the most detailed and intricate structures we have seen in the Yucatan. The main pyramid is massive, the quadrangle is stunning, and everywhere you go you find yourself in awe. Kabah is even more of a hidden gem, as there are very few people even there! This site is also beautiful and has some fantastic reliefs and carvings and multiple impressive structures. Our guide was fantastic, and the entire trip was totally worthwhile!

100% Recommended - An interesting fact is that it is considered as a World Heritage Site, without a doubt, the architecture is impressive and makes you question how it was possible to build something like this, if you did not have what it took to do it. The guide was extremely professional and detailed with the information he handled.

Highly recommended for seeing Mayan ruins without crowds - This was an excellent tour for seeing the glorious history and architecture of the Mayans without lots of crowds. Only an hour or so from Merida, the Uxmal site is stunning and compared to over-crowded Chichen Itza was practically empty. The ruins at Uxmal are every bit as impressive, and in fact have much more elaborate decorations, and there were hardly any other visitors. Also, unlike Chichen Itza, which is overflowing with craft vendors, Uxmal is remarkably serene and inspiring. The nearby site of Kabah is smaller, but also impressive, and again, has hardly any visitors. While it's hard to visit the Yucatan and NOT see Chichen Itza (which is certainly amazing), you owe it to yourself to see other smaller sites as well, and I think this tour was an excellent way to do that. Our guide Manny was very knowledgeable and personable and made the day a great visit. You could also do this on your own with a car, but if you'd rather go on a tour, I highly recommend this one!

Excellent tour - This tour is "express" only because it does not augment the visits to the archeological sites at Uxmal and Kabah with other, unrelated stops. Since I was only interested in visiting the Mayan sites it was perfect. The tour was well organized and our guide Manny did a great job of explaining the context and significance of the temples as well as highlighting the unique iconography and design of complexes. Great experience.

Great tour of Mayan ruins, close to Merida. - Emmanuel was a very experienced tour guide and led us to Uxmal and Kabah. I would highly recommend this tour if you’re looking to avoid crowds and it’s only an hour and a half drive from Merida. Emmanuel was fluent in Spanish and English and really knew the area well.

Appreciation for this experience - Excellent Guide! Super well explained. Mr. Emmanuel is well qualified, tastes a lot and leaves us a wonderful taste in the mouth with all the explanation he gave us. We already knew Uxmal, but now it's expanded. We are very happy and grateful for this service 🙏🏻

Lack of punctuality, professionalism and integrity – steer clear of this tour operator - Uxmal and Kabah were fascinating sites, but unfortunately, we cannot recommend this tour. The tour operator had indicated that we would meet at a central departure point at 7:30 am, but it was not until an hour later that we were finally on our way to Uxmal. When members of our group expressed frustration at the delayed departure, the guide (Carolina) was defensive and would not even provide an estimated time for departure. She even told one of the other guests that she was “ruining” the tour. Although Carolina was polite to us, we were very put off by her unprofessional behaviour and disregard for our time. We missed a late afternoon reservation we had made at a restaurant in Merida because the tour was so late in getting back. We also found her commentary hard to follow, as she was rambling on and going on tangents while quickly switching between English and Spanish. Most egregiously, she purchased lower-prices Mexican resident tickets at Uxmal for some of the non-Mexican/Spanish-speaking members of the group even though she had asked them to pay the higher foreigner/tourist price to her in cash in the morning, effectively pocketing the difference herself. It was clear that this was deliberate on her part because the group members asked her about this and she dismissed them. When one of the staff at Uxmal asked one of those group members if he was Mexican and he said no, we then had to wait for the guide to go back and get the proper ticket, causing even more delay.
