As a marine biologist, my life is often spent exploring the depths of the ocean, but the allure of a river adventure was too tempting to resist. The Rogue River, with its promise of a full-day rafting experience through Hellgate Canyon, seemed like the perfect escape. Arriving in Merlin, the air was crisp, and the anticipation was palpable. Our guides, Nick and Spencer, greeted us with warm smiles and an infectious enthusiasm that immediately put everyone at ease.
