Rainy day history tour - Excellent tour. Carl had a good knowledge of the City and its history. On a day when it couldn't have rained heavier, he also found sheltered spots to give his talk and even took a slight detour into the museum, to give us some respite from the rain.

Allan - an afternoon well spent - Allan was a tremendous guide and covered the history of Liverpool from King John to the Beatles over the course of one afternoon. He flexed the itinerary according to our interests and made everyone feel welcome and included so great for solo travellers. A great way to get to know Liverpool

Great walking tour - We did not have the greatest of weather, but Pam did an excellent job as a guide. She was full of knowledge and really tailored the tour to us! (We were the only two on the tour). We learned a ton about Liverpool!

A must do to see the real Liverpool - My sister & I were the only 2 on the walking tour - due to people changing walking tours, and others not turning up. We asked Jean if she still wanted to run the tour and she was adamant that it was definitely on. What a wonderful morning we had - Jean was informative, passionate about her city. As there were only 2 of us we able to go into a few places where she knew the locals, and they let us pop in, as it wasn't a big group. My sister was born in Liverpool and left when she was a baby, Jean filled her in to what the city would have been like when she was born. We saw the Town Hall and the staircase that inspired the designers of the Titanic. Our tour ran a little over time and so we took Jean for coffee and cake, as she'd given us such a memorable experience. You will not be disappointed.

Great tour!! - Carl is a great guide! We loved how he shared little-known, inside bits of history with us! We also loved the photographs he brought along to show us examples from the past -- such as the Beatles on the balcony of the Town Hall as they were welcomed back to their hometown by 200,000 some fans. Awesome! Carl is very personable, accommodating to those in the tour group, and a fountain of information! He shared his love and pride for Liverpool with us and left us happy and excited for the time we had spent with him.

Highly recommend for both visitors and people who live in Liverpool! - We had a great time on our tour with Paul, who was a friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable guide. My husband and I brought our 2 year old and although the tour was too long for her to stay in entirety it was easy for one of us to split off a little early while the other stayed. We live in Liverpool and found it an amazing way to learn more about where we live. Highly recommend!!!!
