A fantastic day in Liverpool! - Dan was an outstanding guide! He gave us all sorts of history of Liverpool, covering everything from the background of the port, the Liverpool music scene, even a connection to the American Civil War (which I was completely unaware of), and much more.

A great way to see the city with a true native of Liverpool. - Since this was my first, brief visit to Liverpool, I thought I would go on a guided tour with Dan. His stories about the buildings, history and the city certainly made the walk well worth it; fitting in little known facts about some of the places rarely mentioned in the regular tourist information and interspersed with some of the more humorous anecdotes about the city. The walking is never arduous with plenty of stops to hear about the sites and historical background. Dan was enthusiastic about his home town and kept the interest all the way through the tour. A terrific way of spending 90 minutes and learning about the city.

Great guide for an excellent tour at superb value. We would highly recommend doing this. - Our excellent guide Dan shared his detailed knowledge of the history of Liverpool in a sensitive, humorous and entertaining manner. As our fellow guests also mentioned, we would all have walked past many of these interesting sites without noticing their significance if we had not benefitted from Dan's expertise. It is also a great way to familiarise yourselves with this vibrant city. It is a small group tour which allows you to easily interact with Dan who is very open to helping us with any questions that we have including top tips for what to do.

Highly recommended! - I'm originally from Liverpool but my daughters and husband are Southerners, so on a trip to visit family, I thought a walking tour might be fun to give them all a bit of history. We all really enjoyed the tour and couldn't recommend Dan highly enough. There was enough factual information, interspersed with some entertaining snippets - just the right balance. Walking tours are such a great way to make a place really come to life and this was no exception. Highly recommended!
