Come aboard our globally renowned Mersey Ferry for a River Explorer Cruise. Enjoy close to a hour of relaxation as you take in the vistas and landmarks of riverside that have made Liverpool famous.
Our knowledgeable recorded commentary will make you feel welcomed as you explore the elements that add to the vibrance of our city region today. Adding the cruise to your Liverpool visit agenda is a ‘must’.
You can use your ticket at any time during the day for which you have booked. The cruises set sail every hour on the hour from Liverpool Pier Head Gerry Marsden Terminal (please ensure to arrive at least 20mins before departure to redeem your voucher)
Multilingual translation sheets can be requested at the ferry terminal.

- Coffee shop & restrooms can be found on-board the ferry
- Voucher is valid for anytime on day of travel - The Cruise departs on the hour every hour from Liverpool Pier Head. Just arrive at least 25 minutes beforehand to redeem your voucher as the ferry leaves on the hour. Please check Mersey Ferries website for up to date departures and notices.

Excellent day on the river. - Prompt service. Very friendly, helpful staff, topped off with perfect weather.
What a trip for my Auntie’s 94th birthday.
The whole day was a delight for four generations of the family.

View from the water - A fresh breeze cruising the harbour, taking in the sights. Well worth the time seeing the impressive buildings from the water.
Preferred the morning cruise to wake up for the day.

Great trip! - It was an enjoyable trip along the Mersey River despite the rain, the tour was good and learnt a lot about the history connected to the River.

Summer visit - A trip you must do while visiting Liverpool. You can do a round trip or get off at the opposite port before returning back. It can get a bit cool on the ferry so recommend layering up while on there. The commentary doesn’t come out in both sides of the ship which is a shame. Overall though a nice trip.

Not sure I'd recommend,not really value for money. Couldn't hear commentary & only realised there was commentary on other side o - Trip was just OK... Could not hear any commentary as speaker where we were sitting did not work as many have said on here already. Time to fix it maybe?!!!!!!!
We did not want to move as was busy and no spare seats on other side of boat where there was an audible speaker!

Merseyside Ferries - Overall a great experience, very well organised and easy to find.
We Boarded on a day where storm Lillian was about, hence we had extremely choppy water which made the ride somewhat unstable. This was felt more upstairs than downstairs. We sat on the inside upper deck, however we couldn't hear the audio for the tour inside.
I did leave the boat feeling a little nauseous.
also be cautious of the river smell.
Glad we did it....however, I wouldnt visit again, as its ticked off my list.

wrong advertising - The picture is not the same boat. And it's not true that the yellow boat is under maintenance as you always explained the reviews. There never be a yellow boat. Please stop advertising which never be existing. Not nice to lie

Couldn't get QR code - Never use this site again took my money an couldn't get QR code fir tickets and there was a big queue and I didn't hav3 money to pay for more I had my 12 Yr old neiece

Bad - This tour was not worth it. I’m very sorry the boat was old. We could not hear the tour guide.
We were very excited to do this tour, but for the money we paid it was awful. I would expect a full refund.
