The immersive tour concludes within the confines of a hidden medieval garden located beneath a Gothic spire, accessible via a trapdoor, and named by Herman Melville himself…The Dead House.

A spooktacular evening of supernatural Liverpool history and happenings! - The 1½ hour, Shiverpool evening tour was an absolutely fantastic experience! From start to finish, the guides brought the stories to life with brilliant energy and humor. The combination of eerie tales, real history, and dramatic storytelling kept the group of around 30 people, engaged the entire time. The atmosphere they create—especially in some of Liverpool’s darker corners—is both spooky and entertaining. If you’re looking for a unique way to explore the city at night, this tour is a must-do! My Daughter wished to do this tour after attending a previous tour with her school (Kings Academy Liverpool) as part of her RE curriculum! Fantastic! We booked the Ultimate Shiverpool Tour, which came with a gift bag containing a map, pin badge and poster - well worth the booking cost. With thanks, Michelle & Emma

A "Deadly" Good Time in Liverpool! - We took our visiting niece from Canada on the Shiverpool tour recently, and it was easily the highlight of her trip! From start to finish, the experience was the perfect blend of chilling history and theatrical fun.
The Stars of the Show
A massive shout-out to Chiller Black and her "pesky" brother Robert. Their chemistry was hilarious—Chiller’s dramatic flair and commanding presence kept us all on edge, while Robert’s antics provided the perfect amount of dark humor. They are incredibly talented performers who truly bring the spirits of Liverpool to life.
History with a Twist
What we loved most was how the tour managed to be educational without being dry. Loads of details about Liverpool’s hidden past and local legends through their storytelling. It wasn’t just a ghost walk; it was a deep dive into the city's heritage, told with a theatrical passion that kept us really engaged the whole way through.
A Warm (and Chilling) Welcome
They went out of their way to make our niece feel welcome, ensuring she was part of the fun and leaving her with a fantastic impression of the city. If you have guests visiting from abroad—or if you’re a local looking to see the city in a new light—this is an absolute must-do.

Definitely book to do this. - Absolutely brilliant! We did the Hope St walk a few weeks ago and enjoyed it so much we came back with more friends and booked the Auld City one. The guide Chilla Black, is fantastic. The only slightly disappointing thing was that no one jumped out of the coffin and scared my friend, who I made sure was standing next to it.

Amazing - This was the second time we have survived a Shiverpool tour, and it was another absolutely captivating experience. The evening took us through the city’s dark and mysterious corners, with the highlight being a visit to the Dead House. Learning the chilling history behind the streets and buildings of Liverpool was both fascinating and eerie, bringing the city’s past vividly to life.
The storytelling was exceptional, blending history with ghostly tales in a way that kept everyone engrossed. The atmosphere of the night added to the magic, with old alleyways and dimly lit spots making the experience feel truly immersive.
Overall, it was a fantastic evening—full of history, suspense, and a touch of the supernatural. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to explore Liverpool in a unique and memorable way

Entertaining, historical and cultural. - I wasn’t looking forward to this tour as not really my cup of tea, but was I wrong!! Great knowledge from Chilla Black and Meryl Scream, kept me interested the whole way through and I even saw parts of Liverpool I’ve never seen!
