A not to be missed experience in Morocco - This place is awesome the accommodations and food and staff is worth every stars, it is first class and not to be missed if in Morocco. THE ROOM beautiful furnishings, clean, working AC, very comfortable. THE FOOD delicious home cooking by Berbers, presented family style with love and care. THE ENTERTAINMENT was so awesome and all guests were invited to take part in music and dance around a camp fire. THE CAMEL RIDE not to be missed, you will see the beautiful sunset and you will be invited to ride in the morning to see the sunrise.

Saharan Birthday Celebration - My wife and I are very pleased with this tour and would highly recommend it to everyone. Rachid was the tour operator and he is just a problem solver! Our flights did not line up because of a delay from a previous leg so we ended up coming from Casablanca. He arranged a ride for us, Mubarak was our driver and he was amazing. We stopped on the way to desert at local cafes and ate authentic Moroccan cuisine. We spent the night at camp on my wife's actual birthday and Rachid and his team really hooked it up. The camel ride to the camp was a great experience, seeing the sunset on the way. The camp itself was great and we had a great group from various places around the world. That night, Rachid and team got my wife a birthday cake and we had a little party. We all had a blast! I would highly recommend working with Rachid and his team any time! He made us feel safe and very comfortable the entire time. This overall experience made us really think about coming back again next year and make sure we spend more time in the country. If you're asking yourself if you should do it, DO IT! You will not regret it!

Amazing colors - Our driver took us to the parking area where a lot of activities are organized for the dunes and like some of the other reviewers mentioned there were small kids begging, lots of vehicles and the usual tourist bazaar that you could expect. We were met by a young guy with two camels and he led us out to the dunes where we were able to enjoy the late afternoon taking photos and watching as the light changed on the dunes. The colors and texture of the dunes were spectacular and we took a lot of fantastic photos. Before the sun went down we rode the camels to a camp and we were the only guests because the tourism sector hadn't fully recovered from the pandemic closures. There was a fire waiting for us and the room was quite nice with a private bathroom and a very comfortable bed. We had dinner and the hosts played us some music before we went to bed. In the morning we woke up early to see the sunrise and then had breakfast. They gave us the option of riding the camels back to the meeting point or taking a Landcruiser and we chose the Landcruiser because the morning temperatures were cold. Fantastic trip.

Be careful on what you book - On 10/04/2024 we booked a trip for two persons to Merzouga via Marrakech at the Snoubi traveling agency. The biggest scam and tourist trap imaginable. We paid for a "medium luxury" package. The van driver was very nice and very communicative. Until the time we got to the desert, the desert camp was miserable, tents with no toilet or shower, five beds in the tents, the beds had no mattresses and the bedding was in poor condition. We complained to the staff and they treated us very unfriendly and rude. When we went to eat another disappointment, we sat at a large table for twelve people, twenty four people very crammed together and we were served a miserable dinner for twelve people, the food wasn't enough for anyone, when we asked for bread they started pretending they didn't understand and making fun of us. We felt very cheated. Every time we complained their response was "call your agency" and that they have no responsibility for the unacceptable environment. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
