In the evening, embark on a camel ride for an overnight desert adventure. It takes one hour by camel to reach the camp situated in the heart of the desert. The trek begins at 5:00 PM, leading you straight into the desert. You’ll spend the night in a luxury camp nestled among the sand dunes of the Erg Chebbi desert. The tent is equipped with a toilet and shower for your comfort.
This is a fantastic opportunity to capture beautiful photos of the sunset and sunrise. Upon arrival at the camp, you’ll witness the sunset over the sand dunes. If the sky is clear, the night will be magical with sparkling stars. A delightful dinner accompanied by desert music will be served at night. You’ll stay in a luxury tent. In the morning, you’ll walk up the dunes to watch the sunrise, then return to the tents for breakfast. You’ll ride the camels back to the meeting point, or you can opt for a 4WD ride.

Unique chill experince at great value - Camel tour is great, with a stop for pictures and sunset. The camp had great conditions, above my expectation. You can experience tasty local food at breakfast and dinner.
All guides are super chill and friendly.
It's an unique experince and completely worth the price.

To repeat!!! - Perfect organization! We knew that the desert is magical, but this experience was very beautiful thanks to all the guys we met, especially Ahmed, who waited for us at the hotel and told us with a pleasant calm what we could have had. Tents equal to a hotel room, very clean, welcoming (only a strange, slightly annoying smell of plastic), delicious dinner (perhaps the best and most authentic in Morocco), and a pleasant evening around the fire... too bad the sky was cloudy at sunset and at dawn, but that couldn't be booked... Particular appreciation really goes to Ahmed, with whom we also took a 4x4 tour the next day, and a pleasant long chat in the tent of the Berber village... if we return, we will ask for him, the spiritual man with the contagious calm... Thank you

Great experience! - It was really a great experience. There are several activities that are offered for a night in the desert, but we are really happy to have done it with Ahmed. His welcome was warm. The camp was further away from the others, and the people who welcomed us were particularly kind and interesting.

A wonderful experience in the Desert - It was a fantastic experience. Ahmed is a wonderful, kind and welcoming person. We had the pleasure to spend some time witj him and it reminded me why I love to travel, because I love to meet people like him. Booking was simple and the service is very efficient. Spending the night in the tent in the middle of the desert is a unique experience. We reached the tents with the camel and we were lucky enough to find a beautiful sky so it was great to watch the sunset and sunrise. Dinner was plentiful and good, same goes for breakfast.
We traveled in December so the night is quite cold but thanks to the warm blankets you will be fine. After dinner we had the pleasure of sharing a moment of music with the group and fhe staff.

Outstanding - This desert camping experience was more than what I was hoping for. It was cozy, comfortable, very friendly and everything I was hoping for a more. The views were amazing. The people and guides were very friendly. They food was outstanding. The service was perfect. The accommodations were very clean and luxurious. There was a sandstorm the night we were camping, so couldn’t view the stars but was nothing anyone could do about it. Though we got experience a sandstorm. Plan for two nights to be on the safer side. They made the stay the more than what we could ask for. Cannot recommend them enough.

wonderful stay at organic camp merzouga - despite a problem booking our ryad in Fez, Hassan was able to deal with the unexpected to book us a wonderful stay.
Everything is perfect: the meal, the camel ride, the music, the night in a well-equipped tent and the great breakfast

All in all 10/10 experience, would recommend, sad that we could only stay one night. - When entering Merzouga we drove past a sign that read “the friendliest province of morocco”. They weren’t lying. Already at arrival we were greeted by Ahmed, the most welcoming host we have met.
He helped us get ready for our stay in the dessert, offered us drinks and snacks while we waited and was happy to share the history of his people with us.
Soon it was time to head to our camp. We were allowed to pick a traditional head scarf to protect against the sand on the windy day which the camel guide helped us put on in the traditional way.
The camel ride, which lasted for about an hour was amazing, slowly walking into the dunes, until we reach the camp.
The reception within the camp was once again top notch. We were offered tea and something to eat before being guided to our tent.
The tent is amazing, it is roomy, quiet, has a toilet and shower, which really comes in handy after the camel ride.
You’re completely free to explore the dunes around the camp, at night the host will offer some entertainment in the form of their traditional music. After the show they will teach you to play the music, which is an experience in and of itself.
Be sure to wake early in the morning to watch the beautiful sunrise.
All in all 10/10 experience, would recommend, sad that we could only stay one night.
