Fez to Merzouga

Merzouga - After breakfast, the journey begins to Ifran, a picturesque mountain village often referred to as “Morocco’s Switzerland,” then on to Midelt, and finally to Merzouga.

On this trip, you will witness the stunning views of the Middle Atlas and High Atlas mountains.

Stopping at Azrou, a Berber town nestled in the famous cedar forest – the largest in Morocco – after some time in the forest, the journey continues to Merzouga through the magnificent hills and mountains of the Atlas. As you near the city of Errachidia, the landscape gradually reveals hints of the desert.

Here, you will enjoy a meal and experience the warm Berber hospitality.

Afterward, you will travel through the lush Ziz Valley, pausing for more panoramic views on the way to Erfoud and Rissani.

Arriving in Merzouga in the afternoon, you will spend the night at the hotel.

Sahara Desert

Merzouga - Following breakfast, you will board a 4x4 to explore caves where significant desert fossils have been discovered. Then, the journey continues through the desert along the Paris Dakar rally route, passing areas with dark volcanic formations where you will meet a Touareg community. Next, you will arrive

Merzouga-Rissani – Dades Valley – Skoura

Boumalne Dades - At dawn, you can rise to capture some photos before returning to the camels for a short ride back to the hotel.

You will then travel through Rissani, heading towards Tinjedad for a lunch stop.

On the way to Skoura, you have the option to explore either the Todra Gorge or Dades Valley.

Tonight, you will stay in the Skoura palm groves, known as the Valley of Kasbahs.

You have the choice to spend the night in either the Dades Valley or Ouarzazate.

Drop off in Marrakesh

Marrakech - After leaving Skoura, you can visit Ouarzazate and the Taorirt Kasbah, once owned by the Glaouis dynasty.

A stop will also be made at the UNESCO World Heritage site of Ait Ben Haddou.

Then, you will travel across the Tiz n Tichka pass, which crosses the High Atlas Mountains, leading to Marrakesh.
