Best experience in the desert! - We did a walking tour with Ahmed through the desert. Even though it listed, the tour might get canceled if we are not enough people, he set off with me and my partner. Experiencing the desert by foot was by far the best decision! Ahmed provided great knowledge, guided us through the dunes, showed us the most amazing views and places we would've never have gotten to alone. 10/10 would recommend and couldn't be happier to have booked this guided tour!

Evening magic in the Sahara dunes - A magnificent 2-hour walk for three in the dunes at sunset with Ahmed. He knew how to make us feel all the magic of the Sahara. The beauty of the colors, the silence, the footsteps of the animals in the sand. Ahmed loves his Sahara and brings it to life for us.

Great way to explore Erg Chebbi - We took this walking tour in September 2023. It was an amazing experience! The desert was beautiful and it was especially amazing after sunset when it got really quite. Our guide was a very genuine and kind men who knew a lot about the desert, its people and the surroundings. Walking was the perfect way for us to explore the desert as it isn't as loud as the quads and doesn't involve (the risk of) animal abuse. The walking required a normal condition and the guide stopped if we needed a break.

Great alternative with Ahmed! - We wanted a tour without having to go on a camel, since we were against it due to ideals. We are very grateful that Ahmed offers this option. From the first moment he was very friendly, and adapted to our needs. One of us felt sick because of the heat and was very worried and helped us at all times. Highly recommended, especially by Ahmed 🥰

100% recommended experience - We had a really good experience with the local guide Ahmed. It is ideal if you want to really enjoy and feel the dunes. It is also a very good opportunity to have contact with a local guide, to ask him some questions and have a conversation with him. He is very nice and we had a really good time with him.

A truly unique experience - I was traveling solo in Merzouga and didn’t want to ride a camel so I decided to join this walking sunset trip and turned out it was one of the most beautiful memories I had in my life.
It was unique and I think everybody should try it especially if you want to connect to the desert on a deeper level, not just settling for a regular site seeing experience.
The guide knew the desert like the back of his hands and we walked across the dunes, stayed on top while the sun was going down and headed back just before it went completely dark.
Little did I had the chance to go deep into the desert by foot without getting lost and this was my best chance. I felt I was connected to the landscape on a different and not an exaggeration to say a spiritual level when I was learning to pick up the pace and ground myself by finding a balance without sinking into the sand. This is not something you can understand from riding a quad (which I tried too) or driving a 4x4.
I would do this again if I could!

Wonderful trip with local guide. - We loved the trip in the Sahara dunes, that changed colours during the walk. Meanwile talking with the local guide was a pleasure. We learned a lot from him about Morocco and it's inhabitants. Highly recommend if you do not want to go on a camelback.
