A perfect tour to get a feel of Messina - This was a last minute booking but a very positive experience. We were met from the ship by our guide (Chiara) who ran the tour in English and Spanish. We stopped at lots of points of interest and had many photo opportunities. Our 2 favourite parts were : the Astrological Clock of the cathedral of Messina, with its 10 minute show at 12 o’clock - absolutely incredible! the cannoli tasting - a must! We would certainly recommend this tour.

Amazing focaccia - Loved the info on the Strait of Messina, statue of Neptune, & the cathedral show at noon. The cannoli was one of the best I’ve seen. I asked our tour guide where we could get a slice good slice of pizza & she recommended we get focaccia since it is what Sicily was known for. OMG- the best.

Great way to see Messina in a short amount of time - This tour was a great way to see the history and sites Messina has to offer in a shorter amount of time. We were on a cruise so we had less than a day to explore the city and this was a perfect way to do it. We got to see the popular sites like the clock tower as well as lesser known spots like a puppet museum. Our guide was Chiara and she was so knowledgeable and friendly. It was an overall wonderful tour and I would recommend it to anyone looking to see the highlights of Messina in a few hours.

Excellent! - Chiara was very informative and told us a lot of details that we never would have known if we ventured on our own. She timed the tour perfectly for us to catch the 12:00pm once-daily show at Piazza Duomo. We had a great cannoli or Italian ice included from a local bakery per ticket. Great tour!!

Fun walking tour in Messina - We did not know what to do when the cruise shipped docked at Messina. So I booked a walking tour, what a great choice. Our tour guide was knowledgable, friendly and gave us a really nice flavor of the city. And the best part when we were done my family and I headed off for lunch and our tour guide ended up joining us and we had the best time. I would totally do this again given the opportunity.

Don't waste your time in... - Don't waste your time in Messina doing this city tour. The only thing we saw worth of visiting was the cathedral. You will be better off going to visit Mount Etna, or the countryside.

Small Look of Messina near the Port. Our group went into Messina City tour - Our group went into Messina City tour with high expectations. We found this particular tour did not turn out to be as we had hoped. This created a larger group of people. The guide did not make sure all of the people were caught up with her before moving on due to the fact we were crowded together on the sidewalk. The tour had 18 people although it stated no more than 16 in the details of the tour description. The tour guide was speaking in 2 different languages with a small number of people that were added late. The tour description only listed one language for the tour. The issue was with every item being explained in 2 languages, it took much longer to get through information. It was easy to lose track of who was being talked to at any given time and therefore was often confusing. Unfortunately, this add on group monopolized the guides time with a different language that the remaining 13 could not understand. The city tour left us with little viewing of the city. We did not get more than 3 blocks away from the cruise ship. We did not see very much of this vast area. 2 fountains, 2 churches (others in the background), puppet museum, and a sweet treat. Overall, we were disappointed.
