  • Piazza Duomo - Piazza Duomo is situated in the historical centre of Taormina and is the meeting point from where the visit of Corso Umberto I, the main street, starts.
  • Quattro Fontane di Taormina - The fountain is built in Baroque style and takes its name “4 fountains” from the four small columns that are located at the four corners of the central body and which are surmounted by four seahorses from whose mouth came the water that ended in the trays below.
  • Palazzo Ciampoli di Taormina - Palazzo Ciampoli was a stately residence in Catalan style.
  • Duomo di Taormina - The Cathedral Fortress, as the Cathedral of Taormina was defined, was built around 1400 on the ruins of a small church from the Middle Ages and dedicated to San Nicola di Bari.
  • Torre dell’Orologio - Together with the third wall, whose remains are still visible on the right side up to the castle, it delimited the part of the city defined as ‘fifteenth-century village’.

Characteristic are the outdoor bars and artists who paint portraits and landscapes.

Best Tour on our cruise - Katia and Andrea were fun tour guides with a lot of knowledge and they knew a lot of business owners along the way. There were a lot of tips and they showed us places that we would never have found. Best tour on our cruise.

Wonderful day in Taormina - This was one of the most delightful tours I have ever taken. Guilia was so fun and informative. Both my traveling companion and I were blown away by her knowledge of the Sicily and her insights into Sicilian culture and behavior!

1st Time in Sicily, Italy from H-Town, Texas! - We're so thrilled we booked this "off-ship" excursion! We were greeted by our charming tour guide Claudia and driver Giacomo! They took excellent care of us during the tour and made our time with them memorable! We loved the scenic drive from the ship to Taormina and Castelmola. Claudia shared copious amounts of knowledge with us along the way, as well as some delicious cassata cakes (traditional Sicilian pastry) to snack on. We stopped along the way to take some iconic photos that's sure to impress family and friends back home. We enjoyed almond wine, a host of "truffle themed" products and dined at the beautiful and epic views from the Granduca Pizzeria-Restorante! From the historic sites to the modern-day shopping and dining venues, this tour will be sure to satisfy all in your travel group! This was our first time in Sicily...but, definitely not the last! We'll be back!

An excellent tour of Messina & Taormina with an excellent tour guide! - Sara met us at the cruise ship and the rest is history. We had the best time with her as she took us through Messina and Taormina...she is very knowledgeable, her English is fabulous and she went above and beyond expectations. She even provided our group with her favourite spots for pizza, street food, a restaurant with a terrace view of the sea and of course, the best place for Cannolo on the planet! She has a passionate love of her job/career.

Extraordinary !!! - We had the chance to visit this wonderful corner of the country in the company of the most extraordinary guide ever, CECILIA. Wow!!!! Cecilia was so inspiring, outgoing, kind and knew her country perfectly. His dynamism, his kindness, his incredible sense of humor, his Italian joie de vivre, his real sense of true customer service and his great professionalism really made us love Messina and particularly Taormina. Such a positive experience that we definitely want to return there one day.

Fun sightseeing trip - I was very impressed with this tour company. Our guide Cloudio was excellent, he provided excellent information about Sicilly and the areas we visited. We were in a small group of 16 which was a good size. Our driver was very good navigating the winding narrow roads. Castlemola is an ok destination, very good views from that high up. Very small village with tourist shops. Short guided walk and then 45 minutes to look around. In the end I didn't think it was really worth the time to drive up the mountain. Taormina is pretty and interesting. Higher end shops and restaurants. Pretty crowded and hot this time of year. After the guided walk you only get about two hours on your own to shop and eat. Driving takes about 2 hours of the tour out and back. It is a good way to see some beautiful countryside and learn some history of Sicilly.

Thumbs up for Sabrina - I enjoyed the tour. Our tour guide, Sabrina was very knowledgeable. I think the description understated the activity level. The number of hilly stairs was more challenging than described.
